Chapter 14 : Monday Morning

(Carlos' POV)

   As I woke up next to Leah, I noticed how everyone was already awake. They left me and her to sleep as they prepared for breakfast. I slowly woke her up and told her to get ready. Charles winked at me weirdly as he went laughing outside next to Monique. Now to think of it, the Grand Prix is over.. will we even get the chance to see the girls again?... I got ready while still having the thought coming back every minute that passes. I got out and let Leah go in to get ready. Noticing, I saw that Cara and Lando were wearing matching, both had a black top with jeans. Monique was wearing a red top and white jeans while Charles wore a white top with red jeans. I went and knocked on the bathroom door. "Hey Leah, can I ask you something?" I asked. "Sure! What's up?" Leah replied to me with her happy tone. "Want to match our outfits? The others are matching it." "Sure! I'll wear the same colours like you are!" She said while looking up and down at me. I smiled at her.

    We waited for some minutes and as she got ready, I saw her wear a beautiful yellow sun dress, matching my yellow top and white jeans. I wanted to compliment her beauty but I couldn't. As the elevator went down, we ended up singing smooth operator all together. It's my favorite jam song! We had nothing related to Formula 1 today. We went inside the breakfast area and sat down. I took the chance and asked everyone "Since the Grand Prix is over. Will we ever see you girls again?". The girls looked at each other in shock, getting reminded that they had to go home. "Yeah! Carlos' right, how about you stay with us? You could travel the world with us" Lando said as she grabbed Cara's hand. "If you want, we can all live together! For whilst every Grand Prix! The house they give me whilst every Grand Prix has 3 bedrooms so i think we would be fine sharing rooms." Charles replied after. "I have to think about it. I can't let my family and career that I've worked so hard for just to travel the world" Monique said. "You could work from home! That's what my cousin does. He works with a company but he travels the world because of his wife, so all he needs is his laptop." Charles instantly replied to make sure she stays around him. "Alright! I'm in!" Faith says. "If you are, so am I" Leah replies as she grabs Cara by the arm. "Sure, let's give this a try!" Monique replied happily. Lando had a huge smile as he looked at Cara being happy. "I'll go tell my parents everything on a call" Monique tells Charles as she goes out of the breakfast area. I looked at Leah and from under the table, i slowly grabbed her hand. She looked at me, smiled and proceeded to hold my hand tighter. I turned so red...

(Cara's POV)

No way I'm actually going to start living with my bestest friends and my boyfriend. This will be fun! I have always wanted to go explore the world. I can text my parents, they will be fine with everything. If they aren't, I couldn't care less at this point. I'm happy where I am. Thank god for Monique. If it wasn't for her, I would've never came to Monaco and met Lando. I can't forget the fact that Leah didn't let me stay home no matter what. I love these girls. "Cara, you good?" Lando asked. "Yes! I'm just really excited! Since everyone is done eating, how about we go to the beach and relax?" "Sure!" Everyone waited for Monique as she called her parents and explained everything. Lando kissed me and left me with no actual breath. Leah kept staring at us and Carlos winked at Lando. As Monique came and told us that her parents were totally fine with the decision, we went upstairs. We grabbed all the stuff we needed and went down to the beach.

As everyone arranged everything on Charles' boat, I put all the stuff on the floor, changed and jumped off the boat into the water. My hair was everywhere and Lando smiled in a funny way. As I swam, I saw Leah getting pushed by Carlos. Monique went on Charles' back and they jumped at the same time. At this point, I think I just won in life. "WAIT FOR ME!" Lando screamed as the came jumping into the water. Everyone laughed so hard. Hours and hours went by and we enjoyed our day together as a group...

As days went by, the whole group enjoyed our one week stay together. Therefore, all of us had to leave Monaco to go to the next stop for Formula 1. We all packed our bags and got to the airport. On to the next Grand Prix of USA, Miami.
