Chapter 13 : Podium!

(Lando's POV)

LETS GO PODIUM BABYYYYY! DAMN THAT FEELS GOOD AFTER GOD KNOWS HOW MANY VERSTAPPEN PODIUMS! Although I have nothing against him.... It's been too long! After all the interviews they gave Charles, Carlos and I, we went to relax in the cooling cabin. As we talked and laughed together, the girls all came in to celebrate with us. It was so much fun! We all celebrated together and watched some of the laps we had done. I was impressed with how good Charles was doing on all the turns. I think he's used to it by now, him living there since he was a little kid. They called for us to go and get our trophies on the podium whilst the girls went down near to crowd to watch us from above.

Since I got third, I had to go out first. I went on the podium and waved at everyone. After some minutes of trying to find where Cara was in the crowd, I winked at her. She turned so red it made me smile! Once Charles and Carlos came, we did both Ferrari and Monaco's Anthem for Charles. As they gave me my medal, I held it up and pointed to Cara for her. I saw Carlos point to the sky once he got his medal, for his old constructor that died. Then I saw Charles. He held up his medal, kissed it and smiled at Monique. Then, we all grabbed our trophies and took a lot of pictures together. I grabbed the champagne and popped it up like I usually do and put it all over Charles and Carlos. Afterwards, they did the same thing to me and then we waved it to all the people. The girls were full of champagne since they were at the front! I laughed so hard at them! As we got escorted back to our cabins to celebrate, I ran over to my cabin to celebrate with McLaren. I gave them the idea to celebrate it with Ferrari! We all went quietly to their cabin and filmed the surprise! Both Zak and Fred (team principal and CEO) grabbed champagne and poured it all over Carlos, Charles and I! I gave the best glare at them and then burst laughing. We saw the girls from a far looking at us with a huge smile. I knew how much Cara was happy for me. As the time went by, all six of us went to celebrate at the restaurant as we enjoyed the night. Cara and I went to get food together since it was a buffet. We enjoyed it too much.

     As the night was starting to get closer, we went to the girls' room and relaxed there. We decided to sleep there again. As I sat on Cara's bed and looked at her laugh with Leah and Monique, I noticed how pure she was. I adore how cute she is. Her personality too. If she ever leaves, I won't even forgive myself. As it got late, we went to bed and all slept well. I may have hit Faith twice but she for sure gave me payback...
