After Alec and Corine talked to Hodge, they both reached out to Izzy, who had previously texted Alec. She looks charming in a tight red dress, as always.

"Izzy. We've got your text," he walks up the stairs with his girlfriend, adjusting the bow on his shoulder.

"Where are we, exactly?" blonde girl asks, looking around. They're in some old build.

"It's and old meatpacker's servis entrance," Isabelle explaines smirks and look up at her brother. "If we go back there, we come up into the basement of the Hotel Dumort," she adds, watching both of them.

"Perfect. We distract the vamps, Clary and Jace have time to find Simon," Cora says.

"Okay," Alec nodds, making his sister glares at him with raises eyebrows.

"Okay? It was hard work interrogating Meliorn to get this intel," she points and dark haired man glazes at her. He smiles sarcasticly and put his hand on her shoulder.

"Great job, Izzy. You have fearie dust on your dress," his smile come off his face. Both girls watch over themselfs and smirks. "And I hate being the distraction. As much as I hate my girlfriend be it," he adds walking over. Corine scoffes and approaches to him.

"Don't. I'll be alrighty, Allie," she smiles yo him and he gently kisses her lips.

"Oh, do not make out right now. I hate this. Better go now big brother," Izzy walks up to them, patting her brother on the shoulder and giving her parabatai a significant look, which she perfectly ignores. "Also, you know you'd be a lot happier if you weren't so freaking repressed," he didn't answer that one. "Hello?" she just sighs when he disappeared from sight. "I believe he's fine in your hands,"

Alec fires one of his arrows at the group of vampires who's attacking them. Isabelle's just knocks down a few swine with her whip, and Corine's aiming few of her daggers at their hearts. Barely a minute had passed and a dozen or so vampires had already turnes to dust.

"Keep coming, boys," Izzy smirks as they continue their fight.

In the same time Jace and Clary are enter the interior of the Hotel Dumort. Jace carefully examines the area, but fails to notice two vampires who attack him unexpectedly. Clary was attackes by a vampire who had previously 'hypnotized' her. She was almost bitten by him now qnd she probably would, if three shadowhunters aren't entering the room. Alec drews back the string, ready to shoot an arrow at the vampire, as did Isabelle and Cora, who were also preparing to attack.

"Okay," he watches man holding red haired girl in his arm tightly, so he can't shoot an arrow. But instead of shooting him, he aims at the wall, causing the light to fall on the vampire. He screams and let Clary out, and then he got burns himself.

"That was good job," Cora smiles when Clary killed some vamp. All of they're proud, even Alec smiles very, very softly.

"Thanks, but.. it's about Simon, not me. Let's find him,"

All five of them walks with their weapon ready. When they entered the room they could see Simon hold by Rafael who's pressing a blade to his throat. Clary gasps in shock.

"That's not gonna do any good," Jace stops Clary, before she'd do anything.

"Listen to him, Clary Fairchild," he smirks before he's eyes enters to the blonde girl. "What's a surprise, miss Wayland," Alec pulls the string even tighter. He knew Raphael through Magnus, just like Corine. It's just that he didn't know what was between the vampire and his girlfriend. And this frustrating him so much. "Put it away. I've had more than enough of your friend for one day. I'd love to cut his throat. Better don't give me the reason," he continues as Cora steps forward.

"You are silly now," she can feel Alec deadly stare at her, but she doesn't care at the moment. She just wants the mundane safe.

"Put your weapons away!" he yells.

"Are you alright?" she starts, glancing at Simon, but before he could say anything Raphael cut it.

"Now... if you would all just follow me," he say. "You first, lady," he put his glare on Corine making Alec only more furious. He hold her hand, coming to the front as Raphael wouldn't eventually hurt anyone else. "Get down there now! Get down or I'll kill him right now!" he shouts.

"Look, we don't wan to hurt anybody. We just want Simon," Clary gasps.

Alec watches Corine carefully, making sure that she's alright. Actually, there wasn't even a moment when the vampire could have done something to her, but he still wants to make sure.

"Why'd you start talking to him?" he questiones quitely and girl gaze at him.

"I couldn't let him do something stupid. If he killed Simon he'd get in trouble with the Clave,"

"And why'd you care so much?" he ingales. She frowns looking up at him. "How'd you even know him?"

"What's your problem, Alec?" she asks, but he doesn't replies and just accelerates. She rolles her eyes frustrated.

"We're not living without Simon!" Clary yells, making the couple turn.

"Shut up! Open that door right now or I'll kill him right here," he presses the blade harder against the mundane's throat, making the redhead gasp for air.

Alec opens the door, living building as the others do. To the surprise of all the shadowhunters, Raphael releases Simon and tell them to take him with them. Corine smiles gratefully, which he returnes. This go notice by elder Lightwood man. When they're on the roof of the Hotel Dumort, Simon starts breathing faster, as if the adrenaline has finally left his body. "Shouldn't we get the hell out of here? They're right downstairs," everyone only smiles.

"They'll turn into a bunch of fried eggs out here," Jace explains quickly. Isabelle, Alec, Jace and Corine went up a little higher, leaving Simon and Clary at themselfs.

"Look, can I just say one thing?" the raven-haired man brake the silence between the four of them, his gaze fixes on Jace. He and his sister sighs quietly, knowing what Alec was getting at.

"Shoot,"

They starts to arguing. Lately, it's been one of their favorite forms of conversation. They were arguing again and again all the time. Even Cora, who's just came today see this tension between them. At the first she wasn't about interfere, but know it's too much in her mind.

"Alec stop!" Wayland yells, seems pretty upset. "Just stop," his voice become softer, but everyone keeps staring at them.

"I'm older then you, Jace. I'm not in your shadow," he points roughly.

"You two, that's enough," Corine steps between the two.

"If you really feel that way about her, why'd you help us today?" Alec sighs, not looking at Jace anymore. He looks over at his girlfriend and then at everyone else.

"Whatever," he relpies, walking away and Cora go after him.
