When Kara returned to Earth-37, the speed and friction of her arrival created a trail of blackened earth like a comet tail behind her, and she blew cool air on the lingering embers to prevent a fire from igniting. She was still wearing the jumpsuit from Lena-88's ship, but she only now realized that it wasn't a generic L-Corp suit, it was Lena's personal, as stitched on her breast and thigh were double "Ls" in italicized font.

She didn't spare any time getting to Lena, not even for the extra few seconds it would take to swing by her place and throw on normal clothes.

During the flight to L-Corp, Kara finally remembered to check in with the DEO, contacting her sister and Brainy on the comms.

"Alex-Director Danvers-I made it back safely. Blackout was defeated. The worlds is safe, for now."

"We know. I downloaded another paradigm shift a few hours ago," Brainy's voice sounded in Kara's ear.

Alex chimed in: "We'll need a debrief on who this Blackout is as well as what you mean by 'for now'. Otherwise, welcome home. We're glad to see the Supergirl of this world return safely and triumphantly."

"Thanks, Director Danvers. I absolutely want to discuss Blackout, in case he ever shows up here in our world. Something tells me this isn't the last we'll see of him."

"Well, come on back. We'll check your vitals and go from there. Maybe pizza night tonight?" Alex's tone had changed from professional to sisterly.

"Pizza sounds amazing. But there's something I gotta do first. I'll catch up with you guys later."

With that, Kara shut off her comms and continued her brief journey to L-Corp.

Lena had been seated on her office couch waiting for signs of Supergirl. When the world did not end, she took it to be a good omen. Although, she couldn't be sure that the world hadn't changed in some way or another. She picked up her tablet and Googled "shrimp." The Wikipedia page for shrimp appeared, which confirmed at the very least that shrimp still existed.

She was lost in existential thought when in flew Supergirl. Lena kept her balcony door open, not so much for the fresh air but more as a policy to Supergirl, a token of her allyship and of course friendship.

"Kara, you're safe!"

"I'm back and I brought you this." Supergirl held up the frequency detector.

Lena sprang from the couch and hugged Kara, who relaxed into her friend's embrace.

Kara's body buzzed against Lena's, whose skin and hair smelled sweet like roses. She wished to burrow her head into Lena's neck.

Controlling herself from falling into a reverie, Kara let go and took an awkward step back.

"Kara, are you okay? You're shaking. Have you been poisoned?"

Lena stepped toward Kara and examined her vitals for fever, placing the back of her hand on the Kryptonian's forehead and scanning the veins on her neck for signs of kryptonite. Kara shivered at Lena's delicate touch.

"I'm okay. I'm... more than okay. We saved the world."

"Who's we?"

"Lena Luthor, of Earth-88. That's where I got this jumpsuit, actually."

"That's incredible! So, I'm a badass in that world then?"

"A bonafide badass. You are in this world too."

"Although my style is apparently wanting. Gaudy double Ls. It looks like something a real housewife of New Jersey would wear to the gym."

They both laughed. Kara had thought the same but didn't say anything. However, Lena's reaction triggered Kara to consider that if Lena-88's tastes differed on that world, then maybe her romantic tastes might also differ.
