During the ride back to Sam and Colby's house, I catch Colby peeking at me more than once. He looks away immediately when I catch him, and blushes with a smile. I can't help but smile myself. I've been telling them about my other activities as a medium, and Sam has been asking a shit ton of questions. Which I don't mind. I welcome them honestly. I like sharing my story, I feel like I'm doing something meaningful with my life. Sam and Colby live a unique life, as do I. The paranormal world is unlike the one we live in, it almost feels like it can't be reality. But for us, it is. I live my life like this daily, it's become natural for me. And I feel as though this is what I was made to do. To others, this lifestyle is so arbitrary and perilous. Then there's the people who don't believe. The skeptics. And don't get me wrong, I can completely understand why they feel that way. Most people need concrete proof right dead in front of them. A YouTube video just isn't sufficient. It's so easy to believe the things happening in your own home, or directly in front of you. But through a screen, it's even easier to say things were edited or photoshopped.

As we pull into the driveway, I'm stunned. Their house is gorgeous, and huge.

"I think you guys have the most beautiful house I've ever seen!" I tell them. We step out of the car and unload. As soon as I step into the house, I see it. A dark shadow, almost seeming like it's beginning to take the form of a person.

"Hi, my name is Bianca. I'm here to talk to you and help you communicate with Sam and Colby," it was at this point I realized the guys were staring at me, completely shocked.

"They're here, they haven't said anything or even showed to me who they are yet. But the fact they're here and not leaving shows me they want something. They're here for a reason." I tell them. Sam is the first to speak.

"Hi, I just wanted to say that this is a safe environment. We want to communicate and help you if we can, which is why we're doing what we can to try to communicate with you. We know it can take a lot of energy to talk and make noises, so we will be bringing out some of our equipment you can feel free to use." Sam finishes. I'll say, they're super respectful to the spirits, it's honestly really wholesome.

"We will add that at this moment you are welcome in our home, but once we figure out if we can help you, you are not welcome to attach to us or our home and will have to leave afterward. That's nothing against you, it's simply for our own protection. Bianca is here to help us help you, so please let us know how we can do that, if it's even help you need." Colby adds, still very respectful.

" I think that's a pretty good start! I have a pretty good feeling about how this is gonna go." I tell them with a smile. Both the guys look nervous but collected.

"Sweetness! Well, we should probably grab a camera and some oof the other stuff and set up. If you want to you can take a seat in the living room over this way," Colby tells me, pointing into what I assume is the living room. I sit on the sectional and wait for them to come back in.

"So, we had mostly everything set up, but we wanted to ask if you were comfortable tryhing the Estes Method? We want to ask questions and write down the answers and see if you get the same answers from talking to the spirit." Sam says, a hopeful smile on his face. Colby looks at me eagerly, as if he wants me to say yes too.

"Yeah, absolutely! I think that's a good idea." I tell them. I've seen all of their videos, and already know how it works. Basically, it's a radio that flips constantly through channels, and it's mainly static. But the spirits can manipulate the channels and pick which words they want to come through to say something. The person listening to the static listens through noise-cancelling headphones and is blindfolded. So it's a sensory deprivation method. Which makes me kind of nervous because I use my senses in everything I do as a medium, but that's one of the biggest reasons it works. Colby puts the blindfold on me, and sets up the spirit box and places the headphones over my ears, lifting one of them to tell me something.

"If you need to stop at anytime we can, dont push yourself. As much as we want results, I want you to be okay above anything else," He says softly, I feel his hand brush my hair behind my ear gently. I can feel my cheeks heat, and I know they must be beet red. He said specifically he wants me to be okay. I know Sam does too. But he specificaally said himself. The butterflies are flying. He lowers the headphones back over my ear. All i can hear is static, so much so I can barely hear myself think. I remind myself that that's the point.

The first word I get is "here" clear as day. A woman's voice. I'm assuming clarifying she's here. This is going to be hard, I'll have to remind myself I need to try not to think. There's a small pause before I hear the next word;

"Just a while" Then more static for what feels like forever. Time moves really weirdly with this method. Time feels like it drags, but also moves as slow as molasses at the same time.

"You" This is said kind of quiet had I not been paying attention I would have missed it.

" No." I guess the answer is no, haha.

"Free...... Danger" danger?.. That's unsettling.

"I'm not" It's so weird to be getting an answer without hearing the question. Usually, isn't it the other way around?

"Water, friends, yes" These came pretty close together, Hopefully, it wasn't confusing. Then again from this end of the estes method, all of it is confusing until they tell me what the questions were.

"Many, enough" There's a small pause, then "dead".

"Hard to tell" "Don't, scared" A few seconds pass, which is probably Sam and Colby talking or thinking of another question, when the spirit box goes off in my ear.

"Trip... Danger... Devil" "Mary... Boat... Evil"

Then, out of nowhere after moments of nothing pass, "You got it!". I guess they got something right.

"There might be. Watch it... Run!" "You should be, I'm not" Violent" It's at this point I feel a hand on my shoulder.
