As we make our way down the hallway, the realization that we're back here sets in, and that my best friend and Bianca are sleeping alone in the most haunted room here. It terrifies me because Colby is all I have. In all reality he is the most important thing in my life and the thought of something happening to him scares the actual shit out of me. I meant it though when I said that Bianca being with him is helping me through it and bringing comfort. She knows her shit, and I believe she'll know ahead of time if something's off and they need to get out of the room. Plus, I don't think she'd knowingly let something bad happen to him, or any of the rest of us for that matter. As we approach Jake and Johnnie's room, the air feels lighter, like the overall mood of the room is positive and nice. Jake opens the door and we pile in and someone turns on the light. The room looks almost exactly like the one Corey and myself are in, except the color of the curtains. The ones in our room are white, these are a light blue color, almost white.
"Well guys what do you think about your room?" I ask them.
"I mean the room doesn't really matter to me honestly. I mean I don't necessarily want to be in Colby's room but yea. It's a really nice room. This bed looks comfy as hell haha," Jake says and Johnnie nods. I pull the camera out, and talk to Colby and we decide to give the viewers a quick update on how we're gonna run the show tonight.
"What's up guys, so we just made it to Jake's room and thought we'd just kind of go over how tonight is gonna go. As of right now, we're just getting settled in before we start any kind of investigation. I think right now, we're all getting a grip on the fact that we are actually here again," Colby says.
"Yea like now that we're physically here it feels so much more real and terrifying. Walking through the front doors and through the lobby and hallways again feels so surreal. We really never thought we would be coming back here for any reason, but here we are haha," I say. And we really didn't. None of us wanted to come back until we came across Bianca and figured maybe one more shot at getting answers was worth it.
"Yea uhm, I definitely never planned on coming back here considering all the shit we've been through that stems from this place. Like I'm not gonna lie I'm absolutely terrified to be here and we're not all staying in the same room? Hell yea I'm nervous to say the least," Corey says. I can't blame him, this stuff affects him a lot especially anything dealing with demonic stuff or the shadow man. Considering all he's been through with that in itself, it's completely understandable that he wouldn't want to be back here. A slight wave of guilt washes over me because if it weren't for us, he wouldn't have come back here. He came because he's scared for us when we go on these adventures, and truly wants us to be okay. All of us are best friends and family, so that's just hat we do for each other.
"Well, that all being said, I think maybe it's time to get started on setting stuff up, and what better place to start than right here?" Colby says. " Kinda make our way up to our room unless you guys want to start there and move our way down here?"
"I mean you guys still have to take your stuff to your haunted room haha. So we might as well do that and start there," I say.
"And we have a whole week to do these investigations, so we don't really need to spend all night on investigating today. We can get warmed up tonight and really start tomorrow." Colby says. We all decide that's probably the best idea, and put the camera away making our way towards the door. As the door opens, another door down the hall slams shut, and every hair on the back on my neck stands. All of us freeze in place, not wanting to move out of fear. Colby peers around the doorway to look down the hall, his arm keeping Bianca behind him. He makes his way into the hallway, the rest of us still lingering in the doorway. Another loud slam from the other end of the hallway makes all of us jump, and Colby walks slowly back to where we're standing. I pull the camera out of my bag and begin recording.
"Guys we were just about to head up to Colby and Bianca's room and as we were walking out of Jakes a door slammed in the hall. Then literally not even 30 seconds later another door slammed on the other end of the hall. We're all still standing in Jake's doorway. Bro that scared the shit out of me." As I finish my last sentence, the first door that slammed starts creaking open, and we hear a loud scream. Blood curdling, stomach wrenching scream.
"Bro did the camera get that?" Colby asks.
"That was so loud I'm really not sure how it couldn't have." I reply. "Guys I really hope you could hear that cause that was the first door that slammed opening, and a woman screaming coming from it." Before I've finished speaking, Bianca is making her way hastily but cautiously towards the now open door. She peers around the corner into the room, and takes a step inside.
"Hello? If there's anyone in here please announce yourself." She speaks steadily, and confidently. As if she knows what's in there isn't a living person, but rather something else. Colby is already walking up to the door, another camera in his hand. I'm not sure when he got it out, granted I've been a little preoccupied with the slamming doors. All of us slowly make our way into the hallway, and Bianca speaks again.
"I know you're here, I saw you when we first got here. Do you recognize me? I can help you communicate with the rest of the world, but I need you to make yourself known to me. You slammed two different doors, could you maybe close this one again? Can you prove to us you're here?" She says calmly. Colby has followed her into the room, and the rest of us are standing outside the door, looking inside. Before any of us can move another inch, the door slams, closing Colby and Bianca in, and us out.
