Colby and I had questions written down to start off the Estes Method, the first one Colby kicked off with.
"Are you here with us?" He asked. We tested Bianca to make sure she couldn't hear us before starting.
"Here" She replied. This means there is a spirit here who wants to communicate with us. At least for now.
"Well I guess that's a good sign. Whoever it is wants to talk." I say to Colby.
"Yeah, hopefully Bianca is right and it's nothing demonic." He replies nervously. "How long have you been here with us?" He asks the spirit.
"Just a while." I can't help but laugh a little, just a while eh?
"Do you need help?" I asked. I remember Bianca talking about helping the deceased in a few different ways, we're not 100% certain that's what it's here for, but we need to ask to know for sure.
"You" Bianca replies, almost before I finish the question. I look at Colby, he looks at me at the same time.
"Do you want our help specifically, or do you just need help in general?" Colby asks, both of us slightly confused. We've never had a spirit ask for our help specifically. We've been asked for help, but we haven't been sought out by a spirit before.
"No" She says.
"Do you think that's a no as in it doesn't want our help, or in general?" I ask Colby. My confusion has grown so much, what does this entity want then?
"I mean, when we initially asked if it needed help, it said 'you'. Do you think it means we need help?" Colby has a point. The spirit could be trying to help us in some way.
"I didn't even think of that bro," I tell him. "Are you trapped? I figure I'd ask, maybe get a better perspective."
"Free, danger," She replies. "Bro, what? Are you saying you're in danger and you want to be free?" I ask. The answer to this should give more insight, and hopefully take some of the confusion away.
"I'm not".
"Colby bro I think you're right. I think this thing is trying to help us somehow. Maybe warning us about the investigations?" Before Colby can get an answer in, Bianca speaks.
"Yes!" Well that answers that question. Colby is the next one to talk.
"Well at least we have an idea of what's going on. Have you met us before? Maybe at a previous investigation we've done?" There was some silence. "I know you said you're not trapped, does that mean you could have met us at another locat-"
"Water," Bianca says. Water? Met us by the water?
"Bro, by the water? We've done the lighthouse, and so many locations by water, even if it was a pond or small lake or river. That could be so many places." I tell Colby.
"Why did you come here to us rather than any others? Why did you choose to come to us?" I ask. After a few moments pass, we get an answer.
"Friends," Well I think that's a good sign, right?
"Are we your friends?" I ask. "We consider you our friend too." I add.
"Yes," A short and sweet answer.
I look to Colby, who seems to be deep in thought, but realizes he's zoned out and begins his question.
"How many of you are here? Is it just you or did you also bring some other friends with you?" He asks. Man I didn't even think to ask that, which could probably be good information to know going foorward.
"Many," She says. "
So there's more than one for sure" I tell him. "How many of you are here with us?"
"Enough... Dead" Bianca responds, she shifts uncomfortably in her chair.
"Enough and dead? Maybe saying they're dead and many of them are here?" I say to Colby, trying to figure out how dead would fit into this equation.
"Or it could have absolutely nothing to do with it? Could have been another spirit messing with it or even just a radio station that slipped through." He tells me. He's probably right, we've had that happen often. There is a whole other world, so it really isn't too unlikely that another one could have momentarily gotten through.
"Can you give us a number?" I ask.
"Hard to tell"
"Maybe it's saying there's too many to count, or some of them are coming and going and they can't keep track?" Colby nods in agreement.
"Do you have a message for us?" Colby asks. There's a slight pause.
"Don't, scared,"
"Don't be scared? Is that what you're trying to tell us?"
"Trip, danger.... Devil"
"Ohhhhhh that's definitely not good." I tell Colby, his hands covering his face.
"Do you think we should bring her out?" Colby asks, visibly worried.
"I think we should keep going, even if it's just a few more questions. We should know what we're getting ourselves into. Maybe they're trying to warn us about future investigations?" I say to him. I think finishing out the estes is the best option. We need all the answers we can get.
"Alright, we just need to be careful." He says.
"Are you scared of another entity?" I ask.
"Mary.. Boat.. Evil," She answers.
"Queen Mary?" We both ask.
"You got it!" Well, there's something.
"Is there something evil at the Queen Mary we need to be careful with?" Colby asks.
"There might be" "Run!"
"Well that's concerning." Colby says.
"Are you afraid of this thing?" I ask, hesitantly.
"I'm not.. You should be." Once again, concerning.
"Can this entity hurt us?" Colby asks.
"Violent," Colby then putts his hand on Bianca's shoulder, bringing her out of the estes method.
