As Tom drives, I still have no idea where we are going.

But he gave me a black helmet and helped me put it on, and right now my two small arms are wrapped around his waist, i couldn't stop blushing when seeing his long veiny arms

I swallowed the lump in my throat, stopping myself from just snaking my hand to his arm. What is this feeling?

He was focused on the road, and he made sure in safe behind him.

Suddenly he slowly stopped beside the road and I heard him release a groan

I watched him get off and look at his motorcycle. I took off his helmet and looked worriedly at him

" what's wrong? " I asked and he looked up to my gaze and sighed

" my motorcycle got broken, I don't know why it suddenly happened. Fuck " I heard him curse under his breath when he noticed me trying to get down

Tom didn't hesitate to take out his hand for me and helped me. I jumped and sent him a small smile, which he returns

" I'm gonna call my brother to tell him to pick us up with my car " Tom explains and I nod.

He pulled out his phone and I heard him dial numbers, I looked around and noticed that we made it far. There are no more cars on the road and it's already dark

I was scared a little bit

I look up in the night sky and hope that there will be stars shining. But there wasn't

I then heard Tom begin speaking in German. His raspy voice was grudge and rough, I glanced at him

To only see him staring back at me

" i-its going to rain " I spoke when I noticed he out he's phone back on he's picket, he walked back to me

" huh? " Tom asks

" it's gonna rain, look. There's no star shining in the sky- " but I didn't finish my sentence when I gasped as the cold run began pouring

" shit, shit, shit " he murmured and immediately removed his jacket and placed it above me.

" come on! " Tom shouts

we both run to the nearest bus stop while he continues covering me with his jacket from the rain. When we settled in

We sit on the bench as I wrap both arms together in my chest, freezing and wet

" here " I heard him say and gently placed his jacket on my shoulders, I looked at Tom to only see him smile apologetically at me

" I'm sorry this happened to us, I was gonna take you somewhere special," He said and I noticed the pink blush on the cheek got more red as Tom looked away. I giggled

" it's alright " I replied.

He sat a few inches away from me and didn't say anything else.

The smile on my face slowly fades when I look up and see how dark the night sky is because of the rain clouds. My nervousness grows as the rain continues pouring heavier

" m-mommy! Please, get up! "

" no! D-dont leave me alone! "

" open your eyes! "

I looked down at my lap to notice that my both hands began trembling, I felt scared. It's so cold, it's so loud...

" Adeline? You're shaking " I heard Tom say worriedly and grabbed my both hands, I watched him take it to his mouth and blow hot breaths to keep me warm. Tears filled my eyes

" come here " he continued, I didn't hesitate to move closer to him.

Tom puts his wraps he's one arm to my back and one around my head, pulling me to his chest as I hear his heartbeat, and feel how warm his chest is. He didn't mind me wetting his clothes

" do you want to talk about it? " Tom whispered, his voice was soft and comforting. He slowly began stroking my hair with his fingers, I sniffled and he waited for me I calmed down a bit

" the rain reminds me of my m-mom's death... I-i was seven years old when she died because of a gunshot, she was killed in front of my eyes, i couldn't do anything to save her " I cried in his chest

Tom tightened his embrace around me and I felt him place a soft kiss on the crowning of my head

" I'm sorry " he apologizes. I wanted to tell him that there was nothing to apologize for, but I broke out into sobs and felt suffocated.

Tom notices and immediately cups my cheeks with his warm hands as he faces me.

" Hey, hey, hey Adeline. You're okay, calm down baby, listen to my voice, and take a deep breath"

I did what he said, and watched him do it with me. I then calmed down and he smiled proudly at me

" good girl " he whispers. Tom didn't remove he's one hand from my cheek and looked deeply into my eyes

" You're safe and protected as long as I'm on your side, understand? " He says

But then I remembered what Kate told me, that I would be careful around Tom. And since I just found out that he went out and slept with tons of girls, I didn't know if I should believe him

But I trusted him

After a while, a black car stopped in front of me to reveal that it was Bill. He smiles at us and Tom lets me go in first and shuts the door

" I'm sorry about my older brother Adeline, he never checks the weather " Bill then says. I can't help but not to chuckle as Tom rolls his eyes

" Einfach den Mund halten and drive! " Tom shouts and Bill laughs. He made a turn and drives back to the city (just shut up)

Tom sat close beside me but I didn't mind, I then let out a small yawn and closed my eyes to sleep for a minute. But I didn't realize that my head fell onto his shoulder

And that night, I didn't get any nightmares
