" i-i think I should be going, Catherine is probably looking for me already," I said and stood from the couch, I could feel my entire face red and Tom followed me
" make sure to come back Addie!, it would be fun to spend time with you! " Bill shouts as I turn around to face him and wave my hand. I did the same to Gustav and Georg as Tom walked me to the door, I stood and faced him.
I still couldn't get over what we did just a minute ago
"I'll take it from here, do you mind? " I asked and he sucked in a breath and shook his head.
" of course not, here, " Tom says and grabs my school bag and gives it to me. I smiled and placed the strap on my shoulder
" I enjoyed my day with you. I'll see you soon " I add and Tom nods.
"Can I hug you before you leave? " But to my surprise, he said those words to me that made my heart skip a beat. He seems shy saying it, it's probably his first time telling if he could hug a girl
" of course " I replied, his eyes glistened with happiness as Tom didn't waste a second to wrap his arms around me. His embrace was comforting and warm
I didn't want to let go
We stayed like that for a almost half minute before he pulled away and smiled at me.
" be safe, Adeline," He said softly. I nod and leave the room when he shuts the door. I finally took a breath and walked to the elevator.
I walked out of the hotel and called a taxi, as I arrived at the place. I paid the driver walked to the front door, took out my keys, and headed inside
" I'm home! " I yelled. And then Kate appeared from the living room, looking excited as she grins at me
" tell me what happened! Where did he take you?! " she asks and drags me to the living room with her. I laughed and took a seat on the couch, as Kate examined the large T-shirt I was wearing
" no freaking way! That's he's shirt?! " Kate exclaimed and I looked down at the t-shirt I was wearing and remembered Tom, I blushed and removed my bag
" y-yeah. He took me out for ice cream and we spent time together in his apartment, ice cream dripped to the top I was wearing so h-he gave me this " I explained and she took a seat beside me
" tell me every single detail! "
And I did. Kate listened as I told her the entire story, and she eventually started shipping me and Tom together and I couldn't stop blushing.
I headed back to my room and set down my bag, I saw the books I carried earlier on my table. And I was thinking about starting to study again
But I remember I still haven't packed any clothes yet for our trip to San Fransisco.
