I squint my eyes while thinking about it and chewing on my food, but look down at my cupcake to take another mouthful of it, but stop myself right when something odd inside the cake comes into sight.

My lips instantly part widely once I take this gleaming item out of the chocolate baked food.
I drop the rest of it in the dish but keep the ring between the tip of my fingers, still not believing what I'm seeing right in front of my eyes, I don't think twice before leaving my chair to dash to the bathroom door. "Amekha!" I yell her name uncontrollably, feeling my heart racing like hell and some tears on the verge of rolling down.
"T-Tiana...I." She stutters behind the door, not willing to open it when all I would like to do is take her in my arms and never let go. "Amekha...open the door please..."
"Did you see it...?" Her little voice melts my heart as I cannot remain calm anymore, feeling myself dreaming but not living for real.
"Of course I did...! What are you doing?" my voice trembles as the tears escaped from my eyes all by themselves, the strong emotions overwhelming me through all the excitement I've never felt before.
"What's your answer tiana....?"
"I want to tell you face to face..." I look down at the ring shining between my fingers.
"I want you to hold it in front of me and ask
me..."
"A-Are you crying..?" She changes her tone as she must have heard the shakiness in mine. "Yes I am. how could I not...?" I sniffle but wipe my tears away, keeping the precious diamond in my hand and not letting go of it.

The door opens as soon as she hears me answering her but without having the time to raise my head up to look into her eyes, I get taken in the warmest and sweetest hug ever by her strong arms "tiana..." she nervously pronounces my name, her chest exposing her hyperventilation and fast heartbeat. "W-Would you marry me...?"
I squeeze her robust built into my clasp but let myself go to cry like a baby, only for good reasons. "Of course yes..."
"Dammit, tiana... I was so anxious I kept this ring hidden for one month like a coward..." she makes her embrace even more snug, holding me like the most precious person ever in her arms. "I love you so much I was terrified that you could not have said yes.."
"Amekha," I move my head back to look at her. "How the hell could I have said no? You know I love you too...'
"I know but..." she sobs but passes her fingers over her wet cheek.
"I was just scared and kept on doubting so much that I bought this ring one month ago... I tried so many times to go for it but...I kept on changing my mind ...
I stand on my tiptoes and cup her face, to kiss her lips. "You should never doubt about my love amekha..." I press my lips on her again but take her hand in mine, to lay the ring in it. "You can do it and put it around my finger," I smile at her but keep my eyes into her shiny ones, loving the redness of her cheeks.
"Tiana...look at my hands..." she holds one up while feeling all shy but shows me how much she's shaking. "I swear to god..." she bites her lips but clenches her hand into a fist, blushing and acting all nervous like ever. "You're so cute Amekha..." I put my arms around her body, giving this baby girl a big hug but feeling her strong pulse hitting me.

"Wait..." she pecks my forehead but turns me around, to hold me in her arms but takes my left hand up. "I love you, my baby..." she speaks in my ear but passes the jewelry around my ring finger. "I love you too," I smile but whirl around to kiss her lips and embrace her body as much as she does it with mine.
"I know you don't like typical weddings so...we can make something different if you want...we can just do it together and make it intimate. but... I want you as my wife so much that I didn't want to stay like that without marrying you.." she speaks in my ear in the tenderest manner, the pressure and emotions that have been stirred up in her mind lately wavering her voice.
"We can do what you want, a wedding with you will be perfect no matter what we do."
"Does that mean..." her head retreats from my neck, her shiny but glistened eyes diving into mine. "I'll see you in your wedding gown?" Her lips curve up into the sweetest beam ever, as if this was like the best thing and news for her. "I will, for you."
"No baby.. if you don't feel comfortable with it you don't have to...I want it to be perfect for the both of us...."
She keeps her hold around me firm and warm, but I wipe her tears away from her hot cheeks and stand on my tiptoes to kiss her. "It will be perfect since it's with you, and I'll be happy to see you happy if I'm in my wedding gown."
"Honestly...I don't care whether we do it like everyone or not, we could be all alone in here to celebrate it that I would still be the happiest girl for being with you and making you my wife..." her hands caress my back up and down, her eyes looking through my soul in the deepest manner. I can clearly discern all the delight and bliss into them, behind those stars reflecting my image into them. That makes me the happiest girl on earth, that's incredible.
