Kyoto, Japan
Nexus's Lair
4:30AMUnder the moonlit sky, Luke Miller arrived in Kyoto, Japan, accompanied by his allies, Voltage, Jin Mori, and Q.
Voltage, ever the strong ally, walked by Luke's side, a silent understanding passing between them. Jin Mori, with his flames flickering in the night, exuded a sense of retribution.
Q spoke up. "This fucker stole my tech all those years ago. I saw it in the plasma shooters on the wrist, in the healing matrix..."
Luke looked to Q. "So he's got exactly what you've got? Just great..."
Q scoffed and laughed. "He may have my old prototypes, but he's not got all my work."
The intercoms from the building spoke up, and the monitors on the wall came on. In the monitor was Jason Walker.
"Hello Phantom! I see you've brought some spectators! Couldn't do it by yourself? Self reliant as always, all of you."
"I can't wait to quiet this bastard." Brian said.
"That's some awful crazy confidence! Look at the area you are in! This place is ginormous! You aren't getting out of here alive I'm afraid."
The Phantom's voice echoed through the chamber, carrying an air of determination. "Your reign ends tonight, Jason. The Syndicate's dark legacy dies with you."
As the team delved further into the lair, Jason Walker activated his security measures. A horde of Syndicate enforcers, armed to the teeth, emerged from the shadows.
Jin Mori grinned, ready for action, "Looks like the welcoming committee is here."
Voltage cracked his knuckles, electricity dancing across his fingers, "Let em' come. We'll make our way through."
The Phantom's eyes gleamed with determination, "Not a damn thing will keep us from ending this."
Q, surrounded by his advanced tech, scanned the incoming forces, "Get ready for some fireworks, everyone."
Jin put his hand in front of everyone and incinerated everyone in his path.
"They are going to have to try better than that!" Jin smiled and laughed.
As the team pressed forward, the lair revealed its treacherous nature. Hallways filled with traps, illusions, and concealed Syndicate members added layers of challenge. Jin Mori blasted them all away, while Voltage's electromagnetic abilities disrupted surveillance systems.
Q, with his technological expertise, navigated through security protocols, enabling the Phantom to bypass concealed passages.
Amid the twists and turns, Jason's voice echoed through the intercom, taunting them. "You're like rats in a maze, scurrying around. But this maze is your tomb!"
They eventually made it to the center, atop the catwalk was Jason Walker.
"Hah hah!" Jason walked around in his area. "It's Lucas, I've got to say, I'm impressive you've gathered such a little team. I miss when it was just me and your old man though. It was more fair back then."
"Yeah, you helped kill Hanzo because you knew exactly what he was going to do to you once he got his hands on you. The same thing I'm going to do you son of a bitch." Luke said.
"You mean what the very same as I did to your parents!" Jason said as he stomped his foot to the ground.
Luke jumped up at him.
