(A/N: Sorry for how bad this is, it's my first fic soooo.....Brief mentions of suicide.)

"Hello?" I say, staring at the golden glow in front me.

It's glow is eratic and unstable, I call out again and it engulfs me in a bright light before dimming, in front of me now is the same golden glow but this time it's in the silhouette of a person.

"Who are you?" I say reaching out to hold it's hand.

"Y/n Kaylie Vanile! (V-ah-kneel)"

I wake up with a jolt, my eyes wide and my body in a cold sweat.
"This is the third time I've called you!" My mom shouts.

"Oh titan!" I yell, I slept past my illusion!(like their alarm clock.) "Sorry mom, I'm up!"

"Ok!" She replies. "Feed your palismen, he's been begging me for the past hour!"

I hop out of bed and head down stairs, still in my Plaid pajama pants and my Dad's old sweater that he left. I grab P/n's bowl and crack a can of wet Palismen Food. It slowly slides out of the can, landing in the bowl with a squelch. "P/n! P/n! Pspspspspspsps~" I call, waiting for my cute ginger griffin to dash around the corner.

He slides around the corner and squawks at me repeatedly, tapping his feet. I find it so cute that he decides to run around the house instead of flying, including up the stairs. I pet him as I place down his bowl on the ground to eat. "Not like I usually do buddy, I'm sorry but we'll have some extra treats later!" I say in a joyful tone.

He clicks in response and I head upstairs. I don't have enough time to take a shower this morning, Titan I don't know why I didn't wake up to my illusion. I sigh and slip on my multi colored uniform for Hexside and brush my hair (sorry if you don't have hair) before grabbing my satchel. I head over to the now lifeless room next to me, inside is a small memorial shrine, a picture of my brother on the mantle. I stand in the door frame for a minute before sitting by the low sitting mantle, looking my brother's ashes sitting in a small Adaladewood (Ah-duh-laid wood) bottle. He always loved the way they looked in season, long crimson vines hung down from glowing flowers. He would climb up and grab me and him one, 'so we can match' he would say. I rub my hand over the engraving on  the bottle '16, 5/17 2019.', If only you came home to the dinner table that I decorated with streamers, holding the present I bought worth a whole years allowance for you. The present sits on the mantel, two glass Alanee (Ah-lane) flowers, the flowers that grow on Adalade trees, one that would last forever. Why did you leave that day?

I flinch as P/n rubs against my arm, I wipe my eyes and smile softly. I pet him as he chirps and clicks, soft chuffs scattered in between. A soft knock on the doorframe sounds behind me." Y/n.." Mom says, her voice soft.

I stand up and look at the mantle before waving goodbye and looking back and my mom, giving a soft nod. I walk out of the door and head down stairs, Mom following behind me. I stand at the front door and wave bye to my mom, she smiles before her face slowly drops and she gives me a hug. "I miss him too sweetheart..." She mutters.

"...Thanks mom." I say, wrapping my arms around her.

She squeezes me tightly and lets go, giving me a nod. I wave and head out the door, starting the walk to school. I walk past Edric and Emira's house, they're standing outside teasing their little sister Amity.

"Come on Mittens!" Ed snickers. "We won't judge!"

"Oh, hey Y/n!" Emira shouts, waving at me.

"Hey Em!" I shout back, returning the wave.

Ed ruffles his sister's hair and Emira leans over to say bye, Amity doesn't reply but I could see her face was red from here. Ed and Em giggle and walk on over to me, continuing the walk to school.
