15 | the famous brother

—— 2045, 8 november

"wonnie!" called out his papa sweetly from downstairs, but the boy couldn't hear him from the sounds of his music producing. jeonghan, the papa sighs, turning to his husband who was peacefully cooking their meals for later.

"you know you have your own legs to walk up the stairs to get him down to tell him the amazing news, no need for me to get him." he could see the younger's slumped shoulders and pout on his face so he sighs, turning around to face his husband with a playful look, "i better not see beom's favorite food made by me be burnt by the time i come down with jungwon." he does a gesture pointing to his eyes to jeonghan's who playfully rolls his eyes.

the man who'a ascending up the stairs shouts to his husband, "i'm watching you hannie!"

jeonghan only rolls his eyes with a lovesick smile on his face, knowing what to do as he waited for jungwon and his husband to come down the stairs.
they were gonna pick up beomgyu from the airport soon, and as a special gift, the lawyer thought it would be good to cook one of the idol's favorite foods before he came home.

jeonghan stirred and stirred the food, inhaling the addictive aroma of ingredients cooking well. "sorry papa, i didn't hear you, is there something you need me to do?"
"no i didn't need anything, i just wanted to inform you that your brother is coming back from his tour!"

jungwon felt a rush of excitement going through his body. finally, after months on tour, his older brother was finally coming home!
"beomgyu's coming back? really?!" he held his papa's hands in his, and the father nods.

jungwon leaps in excitement.
his brother was finally back.

hours later, his dad comes back with beomgyu who has two luggage's full of stuff to be unpacked and be given. he was the type of person to usually buy stuff for family members and friends when on vacation. jungwon leaps into his arms, making beomgyu shocked for a bit.

"i missed you so much hyung," the boy snuggled closer to his older brother who was practically beaming in happiness. "me too wonnie," the idol hugs him back more tightly, enjoying his little brother's warmth.
"welcome back beomie, we all missed you." his papa greets him, pinching his cheek as the family sat down to eat.

after the food, which beomgyu gratefully thanked their dad for ("hey.. i helped with stirring.." muttered the other father as seungcheol only pinched his nose, "sure you did."), jungwon finds himself sitting on the floor next to his brother as thier parents watch them fondly from the comfort of the couch.

the one out of two large luggages is lying on the floor infront of the two brothers, one had a curious face like a cat and the other excited. "i bought so many things yeonjun-hyung had to help me pack everything!" the idol spoke as he zipped open the luggage, showcasing the many things he had bought during his free time on the tour.

"i bought appa some things to help with his work, a new work bag from louis vuitton, some notebooks that i thought he would like and then some other things." he spoke, taking out the said things to give to the father who was beaming at his oldest son.
"thank you beomie." is all he says before beomgyu goes back to taking out more stuff.

"i bought papa some of the things he wanted like this gucci perfume he mentioned, this bag from chanel, some clothes i thought he would like, another bag.. another perfume.." beomgyu stops for a bit after realizing how many perfumes he had managed to get. "in my defense, some of these were brand deals."

jeonghan only nods, "whatever you say beomie, but thank you so much." he kisses beomgyu on the cheek before the boy takes out the remaining things.

"and all this—" he points to the pile of video games, plushies, sweaters and hoodies plus a few giftcards, "is all for wonnie." and that leaves a few squeaky toys for a currently sleeping bird and a personalized pet collar from gucci to the senior dog who was sleeping soundly in the corner.
