midmorning
overcast gray glare
confronting my glazed over eyes.but i don't see
the cityscape outside
don't hear
the rumbling traffic, and endless buzz of humanity grinding away at the business of life, the slow death of Living.i can only see
your sparkling blue eyes,
shimmering in the
pre-dawn lightmissing you...
your voice, your eyes,
your skin, your smell,
your body
pressed against mine
flesh tingling with excitement,
your back straining,
your breath stopping, starting, ebbing with increasing rhythm as we struggle against our own self control...we sleep in stolen moments
shreds of unconsciousness,
our bodies forgotten.remembering
the passionate exchange of heat
and longing between uslingering,
on the verge of climax.
teetering on the limits of self control
tempting each other to give in
laughing at our giddy self indulgence
nodding off to dream, perchance to sleep a few moments rest
before the cold harsh gray light of dawn steals us away from each other for another day
