My eyes went wide, "Hell, fucking no! We're enemies don't you get that?!" and my arms dropped.
He pressed his body against mine, "Somehow I don't see it that way because if we were, you'd already be gone by now wouldn't you?"
I froze, "I..."
"I thought so...tell you what, Lilith. You can fight and ignore me however you like but something inside you, is telling you otherwise."
"I hate you..."
He smirked, "Why? Because I can turn you on with just a look? Because I'm the mysterious shadow that haunted your dreams? Come on now, you're half human and vampire aren't you?"
"So what if I am, what's that got to do with this?"
He inched his lips close to mine again and my body burned hot for him. He noticed instantly, grabbed my hips with his hands and moved his seductive lips from mine right against my ear.
"Everything, love. Meaning...you can feel things not many vampires can. And I can do so much to hear you moan, scream and everything in between...you want me this second don't you?"
YES!
"N-no..." I whimpered.
"Lilith..."
He squeezed me tighter as his breath brushed against my neck, making me fall weak in his grip and he nipped my ear. A moan tried making it's way out of me but I held it back and bit down on my lip instead. He nipped my ear once again but not before leaving a possessive kiss on my neck and he was gone without a trace.
I stood there in the park, staring blankly out into the open area as I slowed my racing heart and my anger bubble back up. I clenched my fists tight and dug my nails deep into my palms.
"DAMN IT, KIM TAEHYUNG!"
Anger raged within me as I sprinted out of the park and back home. He can't just do that and leave, what the hell!
Faster and faster I sprinted back and made it home, avoiding any sense of Desiree and Lydia as I crawled back up the side of the house and into my bedroom window.
All night I couldn't sleep, well mostly afraid to since Taehyung is my mysterious stranger...there's no thinking on what I would of done if I saw him. I got out of bed slowly, dressed for work and grabbed all my stuff.
I went down into the kitchen and there was no sign of Desiree and Lydia, thank goodness. I let out a big yawn as I made myself some coffee to take to work and ran my fingers through my hair.
I am half human and vampire so I can eat and drink most human foods but sometimes I want blood, animal blood for that matter. Very rare do I ever drink human blood, you never know what goes in it and it could possibly kill you.
I guess the same kind of goes for animals too but I'm good on picking what type of animal blood to drink. I let out another yawn as I grabbed my coffee, put on my heels and made my way out to the trees.
It was an overcast and depressing day today, which means there is a good chance it'll rain. Another yawn escaped me as I came closer to work, jumped down out of the trees and made my way through the parking lot.
I took a sip of my coffee as a soft, cool breeze brushed against my cheeks and I walked into the building. I went over to the elevator, got in and pressed the button for the tenth floor.
"Wait, hold it please!" came a voice.
I quickly put my hand in the doorway, stopping it and that voice came into view. My eyes went wide as she stepped into the elevator, moved next to me and hit her floor. We stood there in awkward silence, waiting to see if one of us would break it and she finally did.
