Midnight Blood

Confrontation

Late afternoon sun started to vanish under rows of dark clouds moving in as soft rumbles of thunder echoed in the background. I've been anxious all day, doing anything to calm myself but nothing seemed to be working.

Going to MasPro twice in one week is enough for me and I really don't want to confront Yoongi and the others.

Nerves raced through my body constantly as I sat next to Taehyung, fidgeting in the seat. I kept turning my fingers in and out as Jin drove on back to MasPro with Namjoon in the passengers seat.

I can't do this! I can't go back...

A sudden squeeze to my hand brought my fidgeting to a stop and soft lips lightly pressed against my neck, leaving comforting kisses along it. I held back a soft moan, squeezed Taehyung's hands and let out a small breath.

"Easy Lilith, try to calm down." he said.

I sighed, "I can't relax...Do we really have to go back there?"

"Yes we do. We told you yesterday you need to tell Yoongi, JK and the other two about your Mom and her plan."

"I don't know...What if they handle it differently than you guys did?"

Namjoon's dragon eyes looked back at us through the rearview mirror as Jin kept driving on and Taehyung moved his lips off my neck.

"Well...you can try to convince Jimin and J-Hope the way you did to Jin and I. But stay clear away from Yoongi and JK." Namjoon said.

My body warmed, "I guess I could...And trust me, I know not to mess with those two. They belong to Melody as they should."

"That's true."

"Exactly, I don't need her trying to kill me now. Especially since she did warn me about not seeing Taehyung."

All their eyes went wide as my body burned hotter and I started to avert their gazes.

"Wait, hold on...warned you? I wasn't going to kill you, far from it." Taehyung said.

"I know, she just seemed to not trust you is all."

"Please, I'm very trustworthy."

Jin cocked an eyebrow, "Sure you are Taehyung, you did ignore our warnings too."

His fangs bared as my heart rate spiked for just a second and Namjoon's voice cut through the tension, I sighed in relief.

"That was before we found out what really happened, okay? I can see why Melody would of warned you...I did try to give Yoongi a client that made a disturbing impact on her life..."

My eyes went wide as I slowly turned back to them and we drove on in silence. We came up to MasPro about twenty minutes later, parked the car and all got out. Jin locked it up tight as I grabbed onto Taehyung's hand tight and we made our way to a back entrance.

Soon as we all made it in, Jin and Namjoon went ahead of us and I hid behind Taehyung, still holding his hand tight.

"Really, Lilith?"

"I told you I didn't want to be here, more like I shouldn't be here."

He squeezed my hand, "You'll be fine, I'll protect you if anything happens."

I squeezed it back, "Alright..." and we followed behind.

We came to an elevator, went up to Yoongi's floor and made our way down the hallway to his office. I closed and opened my eyes, taking deep breaths and slowly started to collect my nerves.

We came to a sudden stop as Jin knocked on his door and it opened wide. I did my best hiding behind Taehyung as much as I could as Yoongi, JK and Melody came into my view and my heart rate spiked high.
