One year later...

It was mid morning and I was just finishing up my first photo shoot of the day. I let out a tired sigh as I pushed my damp crimson hair out of my face, got out of the pool and walked over to the towels. I grabbed one, wrapped it around me and my photographer called to me.

"Ms. Kim, would you like to see your pictures? They turned out perfectly." she said.

A sudden rush of heat race up my back when she said my name and went away instantly. Right...After I left home and started my own life, I switched my last name without even thinking so my family couldn't come and find me.

And that was the first one that came to my mind...

"I'll be there in a second."

I wrapped my towel tighter, grabbed a bottle of water and made my way over to her. She smiled at me, motioned me to come look and my eyes went wide with awe.

"Wow, I look so sexy! You did so well Rain."

"Thank you, Lilith! There really was no bad angle for you, you're skin fits the lights perfectly! I'm so glad I got to be your personal photographer."

I smiled, "I'm glad too."

We looked through my pictures some more, pointing out things that were great and some that could use a slight change. She came across the picture of me laying in the water, the side of my breast and hip popping out as the water just barely covered my sex and a rush of cold hit my spine.

"This one's my favorite. I love how you have that seductive look in your eyes, it's like you were taking it for a special someone..."

That's because I was...

"Are you married at all, Lilith?" she said again.

Her voice brought me back as I gave her my best smile and responded.

"Me? Nah...I've been on my own pretty much my whole life, it's something I don't really think about."

"Oh...that's too bad. But if you do eventually want it, that person is going to be very lucky."

That cold from my spine vanished as she comforted me with her nice words and I gave her a hug without warning. She was taken aback for a second but let me and I quickly let her go.

"Sorry...Thank you, I do hope it'll happen one day."

"It's alright and it will, trust me. There's someone out there for everyone, even for half human and vampires like us."

"That is very true. You know Rain, you remind me a lot of my boss I used to work with at my old job."

She blushed, "Awe, Lilith..."

I patted her shoulder, "She's also half human and vampire, I was her receptionist. She made me feel better when I had rough days, like you do."

She smiled, "Maybe I'll get to meet her someday."

I smiled wider, "Yeah, maybe."

A sudden push to the door caught our attention and my manager came in, tapping her watch. She came over to us, stood next to the camera set up and put her hands on her hips.

"Why are you still naked, Lilith? We've got your dark aesthetic shoot to do in twenty minutes! Rain, you were suppose to have her in the other studio by now."

"Sorry, Angel! I got caught up in showing Lilith her nude ones, she looks so good in them."

"I was on my way to change..." I said.

Angel lifted her eyebrow, "Sure you were. Throw your robe on and meet me by the door. And Rain, get this set cleaned up stat."

"Don't you want to see her pictures?"
