THE NEW CIVIL WAR HAD BEGUN.

I was slashing all the I can. I tried not to kill and just knock out the romans. Won't look too good in my record if I killed them.

Roman demigods had formed ranks and were advancing toward the Argo II, but a miniature storm had gathered over their heads. Though the day was clear all around them, thunder rumbled, and lightning flashed above the Romans. Rain and wind pushed them back.

I felt my body start to go by it self. I was feeling the same the moment we were at war with the Titians.

Over by the docks, a familiar voice shrieked over the wind: "Kill them! Kill them all!"

Octavian had survived his swim in the harbor. He crouched behind his guards, screaming encouragement at the other Roman demigods as they struggled toward the ship, holding up their shields as if that would deflect the storm raging all around them.

I looked at Jason and Percy who stared back at me. Defending time.

Percy nodded at me. "Could be a good time to give it your all."

"Already planning it," I gripped the sword swinging it. "We should form a triangle. I will be front and back, you both side. We will switch when I say."

They nodded at me as the romans advanced towards us. Immediately we formed a triangle working together.

The ground started shaking a little like a small earthquake. I started summoning daggers with my powers to block as much as I can.

Percy looked at me as the earthquakes was getting stronger. "We should put our powers together."

Jason looked around. "Yeah, agree."

I nod putting my sword point face down. Jason and Percy crossed their sword over mine.

We summoned the sky, the sea and the ground to do our bidding. Water and wind churned together and the earthquakes make both stronger. Waves heaved against the ramparts and lightning flashed. Giant eagles were knocked out of the sky. Wreckage of the flying chariot burned in the water, and Coach Hedge swung a mounted crossbow, taking potshots at the Roman birds as they flew overhead.

I felt a spark in me. I felt myself get stronger. Soon a tornado started to form. It had lightning inside it moving as one. The rain got stronger and forming around the tornado. It was all moving in the same direction.

The winds that battered the Romans didn't seem to affect Annabeth. Annabeth sprinted through their lines. Octavian yelled, "Stop her!"

A spear flew past her ear. The Argo II was already pulling away from the dock. Piper was at the gangplank, her hand outstretched.

Annabeth leaped and grabbed Piper's hand. The gangplank fell into the sea, and the two girls tumbled onto the deck.

"Go!" Annabeth screamed. "Go, go, go!"

The engines rumbled beneath us. The oars churned. Jason changed the course of the wind, the earthquake got stronger and Percy called up a massive wave, which lifted the ship higher than the fort's walls and pushed it out to sea. By the time the Argo II reached top speed, Fort Sumter was only a blot in the distance, and we were racing across the waves toward the ancient lands.

Jason, Percy and I fell down the moment we stopped. I felt my head pounding, I heard my heartbeat. My hands were shaking and I somehow still felt some energy to keep going.

That's it. I heard a voice in my head. Kill them.

I felt myself growl for a second. I turned around and faced Jason and Percy.
