Third Person P.O.V

(Y/N) decided to go with Jesper, worried he would get lost on his way there or the journey back.

"You sure this is the right way?" Jesper shivers out, looking around nervously as (Y/N) lightly cracks the reins.

"Pretty sure. I went exploring one time in my first year here and spotted the place," she explains, the pony huffing lightly as it trudges through the snow. "Ah, see? Creepy old bridge."

Jesper looks ahead, gripping the side of the carriage as they make their way across the old bridge, the wheel barely fitting.

The sun was setting in the distance, giving the dark woods a faint glow. Jesper looks ahead, exhaustion still on his face as (Y/N) pulls the pony to a stop.

"Not much further, it's just up here," she mumbles, hopping off the carriage as Jesper follows.

He suddenly pauses, making her do the same and follow his gaze to a group of reindeer nearby. They snort as they swiftly raise their heads, staring at the for a moment before taking off.

(Y/N) watches after them in awe, Jesper simply rolling his eyes as he continues up the path. A large cabin stood in the middle of a clearing, icicles sticking off the sides and snow on the roof.

He raises his knuckle and knocks, looking over at (Y/N) as she peeks inside.

"The lights are out," she mumbles, squinting through the frosted glass. "Looks empty."

Jesper looks around the clearing, pausing when he sees another cabin not too far.

"Come on," Jesper urges, walking down the porch as (Y/N) looks over and quickly follows.

He opens the doors to the cabin with a small grunt, (Y/N) looking around with uncertainty.

"Maybe Mogens was just messing with you. You know he loves doing that," she speaks quietly, gasping as Jesper walks inside.

"Hello? I'm in your house," Jesper calls, his voice echoing as (Y/N) quickly follows him. "Or... Whatever this place is. Anybody here?"

"You realize you're breaking and entering, right?" (Y/N) hisses, grabbing his arm and tugging him.

Jesper raises a brow, crossing his arms with a smirk. "You realize you're with me, right? We're in this together, doll."

"Doll?" (Y/N) sputters, rolling her eyes and setting her hands on her hips. "Don't call me that. And I'm only in here to get you out. So come on!"

She grits out, tugging his arm towards the exit. A breeze flows through before becoming violent, making (Y/N) flinch at the cold and Jesper quickly hold his hat.

The door slams shut, three large icicles falling and blocking it from opening.

Jesper and (Y/N) glance at each other before she lets go of him, quickly rushing to the door and pressing against it.

"Really?" she groans, Jesper walking over and grunting as he presses against it.

He rams into it with his shoulder multiple times, the door not budging as he sighs heavily. "Of course. Of course this would happen."

(Y/N) pinches the bridge of her nose before spotting a nearby lantern, grabbing a match on a table and lighting it.

"I'm gonna kill that boatman," Jesper growls out as he rams into the door again, panting lightly as he takes off his hat to fix his crazy hair.
