I was writing some particularly difficult stories when I started writing Alex and Annie, so I decided to make this story a little bit different to give myself some relief.
So, fair warning, if you read/take Alex seriously, you might as well skip this story.
But if you read him tongue-in-cheek as I intended, you'll have a lot more fun. He pulls a lot of shit that he shouldn't. He thinks a lot of things that he shouldn't. He says a lot of things that he definitely shouldn't. He's clueless about relationships, and when he decides things are changing, he tells Annie the way it's going to be. (Shockingly, it doesn't work.) Eventually he has to dig deep, but until then he's just...Alex, Mr. Not-To-Be Taken Seriously.
