Within the World of Gun Gale Online.. it was almost a desolate dark place. While there were lush forests of course, and varied environments.. everything gave the appearance of a desolate apocalypse. Destroyed bridges stood in the middle of wastelands.. old relics and burned down starships poked out of the sands of vast deserts..
Basically it was a world where humanity was experiencing the aftermath of an apocalyptic space war.
Sinon didn't care much about the environment.. she wasn't here to admire the view.. her purpose.. her role, depended on observing the players.. to observe her opponents.. and to obey the Sniper's Creed:
One shot, One Kill.
And so Sinon wrapped her muffler a little closer around her neck, staying emotionless as possible.. her short blue hair ruffled a little in the wind. She was dressed in short black pants and a very tight sleeveless top with a short jacket.
You could say that her outfit might have gotten her into a bit of flirt trouble with male players.. and you would be right in guessing that she didn't care.. she was a cold hearted stone cold bringer of death from the bushes.. who cared if a stupid man was looking at her butt? Not that it wasn't irritating.
She was currently hiding atop a large mountain side with a group of PK players.. their company leader was a player named Dyne. A veteran player who dressed like an American cowboy with his hat and old timey outfit.. at his side he carried an M8 class rifle.
As far as Sinon could see, their entire group was dressed perfectly for this raid.
"Alright!" Dyne said with a grin. "This is it folks, we've been studying these guy's hunting path for a while now. Usually they bring only plasma based weapons to hunt monsters with, and their shields are pretty weak.. so we should be good.."
"More then good!" said one rather perverted looking player. "After all! We've got the one shot wonder Sinon with us! Eh Sinon!? Eheheh.. howabout after this raid you come with us for some.. education?"
"Sorry.." Sinon said emotionlessly. "I have business to attend to afterwards."
"Aww!? Do you have a paper to write or something? You are like in college or something right?"
"Leave her alone already.." Dyne muttered, rolling his eyes. "I'd rather get started on our little scheme here and make sure it goes off without a hitch. Anyways.. Sinon.. you have that nice piece of yours ready?
Sinon readied her weapon. A massive powerful sniper rifle.. A PGM Hecate II sniper rifle... a powerful monster of a gun that could pretty much reduce any person's health to zero in one shot..
"Yes.."
"Well then.." said Dyne. "That's good, cause after all the headaches we caused them last time, it seems they've finally wised up and hired themselves a nice strong player to play the body guard.. Sinon, you'll want to pick that guy off.. then we can move in for some nice kills.. nothing too complex, nothing too complicated.. we're going pick em off quick and clean.. Sinon, stay up here and get your scopes ready.. everyone else, move out, we'll give em such a surprise! heheh.."
In all honesty, Sinon could see plenty of holes in this so called 'simple' plan, but she did as she was told. The key to a good sniper, was always keeping a nice distance away from the fight, picking off players from afar.. and then moving on to another hiding point.. it was for this reason, besides her Hecate, Sinon always kept her gear light..
And so she waited, crouched in the shrubbery, the scope of her precious Hecate pointed down at the landscape below.. where she could already see the group of a dozen or so hunters moving down.. all of them wearing concealing cloaks.. all of the accept one..
