I was born in Eden. A place of heaven, but when it turns sour, it can be hell. By the time I was 7, barely learning that this was a different place from Earth, he took me and left me. I cried for many moons until my parents found me. I don't know how long I was there but Mom told me I looked sick and I rushed to the hospital. I spent weeks staring into a bored, pale yellow ceiling. The nurses cold hands sticking needles and IVs. Testing and blood, that's all I remember.

I'm 20 now, longing for Eden, longing for my return. I miss them. I don't know them but I miss them.

A knock echoed my small trailor house. Aria said she'd be by today. I rose and walked to the door to be met by her. A purple and black striped hair, short, but still fierce girl I called my friend. She's my only friend.

"Rei," she spoke slowly, "can I come in?" I nodded and opened the door for her. We walked into the tiny kitchen that held a table for two and the nessicites for a kitchen. I made tea and held it out for her. She took a sip and placed it back on the wooden table.

"Ich-" she clears her throat, her first language is German. She got rid of the accent because she was afraid of being different. "I'm pregnant."

I froze. I was going to be an aunt.

"I don't know who the father is." She held her head low, fiddling with her fingers in her lap. Distracting herself from crying.

"That's okay, atleats I get to be an aunt." I smiled as she looked up at me with sad green eyes.

Aria left awhile ago. Tears stained my grey shirt from her crying. She told me she wasn't ready to be a mother. Sobbing as she said she'd let everyone down by being terrible to her child.

I turned the cold shower handle to the boiling point. Its not my fault that Aria's sad, why does it feel like that? Once the water was steaming up the mirror, I stripped and stepped in. I hissed as the water hit my back.

I forced myself into it, a cry of pain rang into the bathroom. Tears mixed with shampoo. Blood did same with conditner. I felt something. I really did.

I turned it off. My body gave up in pain as my legs fell beneath me. Slamming my face straight into the floor.

"Do you need help Reiylnn?"
