Back To Eden

A warm sensation hit my body like waves, giving a sense of comfort that actually felt something that I was never to call anything.

Home.

I groaned and rolled over on whatever I was laying to keep the warm on my back.

"She's awake. You need to go to tell Vessel." His voice sounded stern and plain, but still making me freeze in place as a flash of what happened played in front of my eyes. Footsteps entered and I heard Vessel tell him to leave, he agreed and left with no hesitation.

"I know your awake Rei." Vessel said outloud after minutes of awkward silence. I shook my head no and pulled the blanket of my head.

"Why were you out so far? They found you just in between the lines of Eden and Earth." He asked in a quiet tone. I sat up with the blanket wrapped around my shoulders and torso. He shook his head and sat closer to me, taking my chin into his hands.

"Let me show you what you look like from the inside." Vessel whispered in my ear. My breath hitched in my throat, my heart pounding furiously in my ears as excitement and worry filled my stomach with butterflies. He laid me on my back and kissed me gently. The moment felt like hours in heaven, maybe if we didn't hate each other so much we could fit together like a puzzle.

His hands traveled down from my face and rubbed the sides of my torso gently. We broke the kiss for a second to catch our breathe.

"Do you actually-" I nodded quickly before sitting up again and deepening the kiss, our tounges fighting for domance. His lips traveled down to my neck, kissing it softly and nipping at it with his teeth.

He tugged on my shirt slightly signaling that he was taking it off. He took off my shirt and pants quickly and stopped to take a minute I scan over my body. I felt weak when I failed to fight the urge to cover my lower stomach to have him pin my arms above my head.

I looked deeply into the eye silts of his mask as if I could see right through him and read his thoughts. "You have no idea how long I've wanted this Reilynn." He whispered as he put a finger to my lips. "Nor do you have any idea what you're getting yourself into dove."
