I didn't know whether or not to react. I just let it happen. He pulled away both leaving us breathless.

"We can't tell them." He said putting a finger to my lips. I swallowed the feeling in my throat and nodded. "Go."

The pond.

I am here to drown my sins. Drown my feelings. Not sins. I have to do something. I feel confused and scared. I don't know what to say or feel, what do I feel for him?

I strip from my clothing and sit next to the cold water, glancing over my reflection. I sigh deeply and slam my head into the water, eventually letting Edens cold waters take my body as one of the its own.

"Do it!" A scream fills my head internally. I thrash around under the water, my lungs burn. As if someone has lit my body on fire. I'm growing tired but someone is stopping me from reaching the surface.

"Fucking just die already!" The scream repeats over and over until my ears are ringing.

My struggle stops.

My eyes snap open full of panic and worry. I sit up in the water and scan over everything frantically, covering my body over with my arms.

"Scared?" A female voice cooed in my ear. I scream and smack the person behind me. She chuckles. "You are okay Reilynn. You're somewhat safe."

The woman I recognised as Melody. She was a darkangel that Sleep had taken during the wars before. Her hair a near white but still a shade of blonde. Her black doll eyes moved around scanning my face.

"I'm real." She chuckled.

"I know." I say flustered.

"You look like you've seen a ghost." She told me tracing the waters bank with a pale finger. Her gaze sternly now fixed on me. "I have come to you for a reason."

I nod. "You're killing Eden not helping. The water is even turning against you." She continued.

"The water?"

"Yes, Eden is always alive and watching Reilynn." She smiled. "You won't be for much longer though."

A cold chuckle rang in my ears as Melody presence was gone.

Edens dying because of me?

I ponder my thoughts as I slid my clothes over my wet skin and head back to camp.

She came into camp pale and sickly looking. Not even saying anything as she placed herself on the bench next me.

I look over at her and at the fire. "Are you-"

"Yes." She replied quickly.

I nod reluctantly. "I have some leftover food."

She sighs a little. "I'll get some later good night II." And was gone to her tent.

I put more wood into the fire and go over to my tent. I pull off my mask and set it on my table and take out my notebook and pencil. Sleep had gave this to me when I first came here.

I write down what I have been feeling lately and the reason why I cannot tell her yet. She must not know.

I don't think Sleep would understand either. He is my god but some things that I say must not be felt or spoken of. I am doing this out of Reilynns own good. It is my fault and I'll take the pity when it has to happen.
