After some time both were cuddling silently feeling each other's presence.
Karan draws up his courage and asks div, Kp: divyanka i trusting you again with all my leftover soul please don't break it. Tell me what is all this about? Say harshest of the harshest truth about this to me. Just trust me and tell me. Please...
Div: karan its not what it looks like but its not that easy to be understood, its very complicated. Karan I am trusting you with this. This is about my past, my life in London, my first love...
As soon as div says "love" karan's heartbeat fastens as if running away from truth. Karan's trance is broken as div looks at him with a look of "trust me" in her eyes.
Div: Karan this all started 5 years ago in London. When i was there in acting school. There I met that guy, my first love Rihaan.
Karan was shocked that her first love is not abhay.
Karan: but you said you love abhay-
Div: listen to me then you will understand.
Karan nodded. Div: he was the best guy in the world. He had the best smile.(smiles) wish you could meet him. Saying this her eyes dropped precious tears.
Kp: what do you mean by "was" div? Div: (controls her sob) he died in a car crash. Karan patted her back and consoled her. Div: I planned my whole life with him and he left us as we are no one to him. KP: we? Div: we, as in me and Abhay. Abhay is his younger brother and his only family. They both didn't have parents. KP: I am sorry Div. Div: U need not to be sorry KP. It's destiny, my bad luck. KP: Div there's nothing called bad luck, something happens in your life to make you what you are today. Div: it's easy for you to say when you have not lost someone. KP: Don't say about something you don't know. Div: moving on. (Monotonously) So when we were in London, Abhay, me and Rihaan were like family. And when we lost Rihaan, I promised Abhay that he will always be my family. He is like my brother from another mother. He's family. KP, this is the thing which I haven't told anyone except my family including raj. KP: I am sorry for not trusting you and misinterpreting your actions. Div: I also didn't clarify my relationship with Abhay to you. I am sorry too.
Karan looked into her eyes softly this time with warmth, with care and kissed her gently and slowly.
After breaking the kiss, Karan kisses on her forehead with assurance.
Div: I m sorry Karan that I hurt you so much unknowingly-- KP shushes her by pecking her lips. KP: everything's clear now div, no need to say sorry.
Suddenly Div's phone rings.
On the call,
Div: yes Abhay Abhay: where r u? Div: at the set Abhay: it's 11 in the night Div, you said you would be home by 8. I was worried, you should have called me atleast that u would be late. Div: Abhay I will explain u once I reach home. I will be home in 40 mins Abhay: take care Div. Div: byeee Cuts the call
KP: kebab mein haddi Div: are u saying we r kebab. KP: I will tell you what we are....(Saying this he nuzzles in the nook of her neck) Div pulls away: KP don't be so naughty I have to go home. It's already 11 KP: don't worry Div, I will drop u home. Div: I will book a cab KP, u have to go opposite for your home. KP: it's late div. I am dropping u home and that's final. Now straighten up your clothes while I make a call. Div: (blushes) yeahh yeah... You go.
As KP moves outside the vanity to make a call, a crew member calls him out from behind.
KP: are Rohan u still here? R: just packing up, but why r u still here... (Looks him up and down and smirks) Iss baar kis heroine ke saath huhh? Dekh ke lag rha hai iss baar Bhai ne toh macha dala.
KP: tameez se baat kar, ye koi airi gairi ladki nhi hai Rohan. Aaj ke baad tere muh se iske baare mein itni besharmi se baat ki toh Tera muh Tod dunga. Rohan: sorry my bad. Lagta hai iss baar bhabhi mil gyi finally.... Huhh kyu bhai itne possesive ho rhe ho. He smiles
KP: (smiles) tu apna kaam kar Jaa tujhe late nhi ho rha kya? R: hai kon ye toh batao? KP: tu jaata hai yaa mai batau? Rohan leaves.
KP to himself: kya Karan tune div ko toh bol diya ki straighten urself par khud ki shakl toh sudhar leta. Woh toh achha hua Rohan ne hi dekha koi aur hota toh fir koi scandal ho jata. He makes a call and then gets inside the vanity.
Div: did u go outside like this Karan? KP: I forgot........ Div: u r mad Karan.... (Blushes) Now go clean up. KP: haa baba.
