Pt 2

Nick took his daughter to the medical bay.

Bruce looked her over, and was able to get an IV, which was able to slowly get her to sleep.

"What's the diagnosis?" Nick asked Dr. Banner.

Bruce shakes his head and looks down. "She's been through hell. Multiple bruises, in various stages of healing. She's lived through hell."

"What doesn't kill her will make her stronger." Nick said.

"I feel bad that someone has had to live through that. He knew exactly where to hurt her, to cause bruises, but not kill her." Bruce said.

"He tortured her." Nick said quietly.

Bruce nods. "She's probably out for the night, she probably really needs a good nights sleep."

Nick nods. "Leave her then. I'm gonna pull some strings and get her some divorce papers."

Bruce nods and watches Nick start to leave. "Nick."

Nick stops and turns around.

"Some of her bones are broken. They've healed incorrectly, so I have to re brake the bones and set it in a splint so they'll heal properly." Bruce said.

"How many?"

Bruce shook his head. "Multiple. I've found 5 separate ones. Well move at her pace, if she wants one done at a time, we will."

Nick nods. "He never let her go to the hospital even when she had a broken bone."

Bruce nods. "That would be my guess as to why the broken bones didn't heal properly."

Nick nods and walks into the common room, where the avengers still sat, from their debriefing, before Dove arrived.

"So you want to tell us who that was?" Tony asked with his hands on his hips.

"Her name is Dove. She's my daughter." Nick says.

"Yeah. We got that much." Steve nods.

"She's married. Her husband, he, he's not the best." Nick struggled to say.

"She's in an abusive relationship." Clint filled in for Nick.

Nick nods. "She's out in the medical bay right now. She's got 5 different broken bones that didn't heal right, so Bruce wants to re brake them so he can set them and have them heal properly."

Steve ran his hand over his face. "Damn."

"I'm gonna pull some strings and get her some divorce papers. I'd really like it if, you Tony, in your Iron Man suit, Thor, Steve, Hawkeye and Bucky came with." Nick said.

Steve tilts his head. "You looking to scare the man to death?"

Nick nods. "More or less. He's signing those divorce papers."
