PT 14

Denied. Again.

Dove groaned angrily, as she continued to make her Vegan Raw Tuna Poke Bowls, for dinner.

It was vegan night for the Avengers, and this is what Dove had decided to make.

And Bucky had finally decided to make his move.

"I don't want you to leave." He rushes out as soon as he stood next to her in the kitchen.

His sudden appearance next to her, and the fast pace of his words, caused her to jump in surprise, as she was unable to catch his words.

"Sorry." Bucky said embarrassed.

Dove smiled. "Your fine Buck. You scared me. Now what's up?"

Bucky took a deep breath, not wanting to screw this up. "I don't want you to leave."

Dove blinked. She was aware of the budding relationship they'd been working on together, but was unsure of where it was going, or leading to. "Bucky. I don't want to leave either. But I'll still work here and you still live here, we're friends we will see each other again, and I'm sure we could make plans to hang out."

At that, Dove went back to her cooking.

A few minutes later, to her surprise, Bucky grabbed her arm gently and spun her around.

"No Dove. I don't want you to leave. I don't want go just be friends with you. I've been so attracted to you since I first saw you. After your divorce, your father had Steve and I routinely check in on you, and throughout that time, I just fell in love with you. The funny thing is, we hadn't even had a conversation at that point. I just fell in love with you."

Dove blinked in surprise. "Bucky, that's the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me."

"So, you'll stay? You'll be with me? Give me a shot?"

Dove was quiet for a moment, which scared Bucky, but he knew with her past, she was really thinking everything over.

Then she smiled at him. "Okay Bucky. Let's give this a shot then."

A/N: I'm kinda running out of passion for this story. Of course, I'll finish it since there aren't that many chapters left to begin with, but I'm really wanting to work on some new stories as I have a dozen ideas. Any suggestions for this story? It was always meant to just be a love story, but I was able to add a little drama.
