Beta squad/sidemen one shots!

kenny, soft spot.

Me and kenny are at my mums house. Its the first times hes going to meet them since we got together 6 months ago.

My mum told us to be here for 13:30 so we are and no suprise. Shes not here. I called her and she told me shes at the shops with both my little sisters.

So me and kenny are sat on one of the sofas in the living room watching tik toks. At 13:52 my mum is finally home.

Kenny gets up as soon as he hears the door open and i can tell hes very nervous. My mum walks in and i get up going to hug her. Kenny shakes her hand.

"nice to meet you."-kenny says to my mum
"yes you too kenny."-my mum replies.

Then my twin sisters come running in. They're 5,neve and sofia. I crouch down to there level and put my arms out and they run into my arms hugging me. I wrap my arms round them hugging them back.

We pull away and i kiss there foreheads then they notice kenny. Neve goes towards him first and looks up at him and waves. Sofia then goes over and hugs his legs.

"hey girls, what are your names?"-kenny asked going down onto his knees to be on there level.
"neve"
"sofia"
"nice to meet both of you."-he says.

The girl's smile at him before running of to there room. Me and kenny sit on the sofa again with my mum sitting on the sofa opposite us.

We was talking about my sisters school when they came running down. They both went and climbing into kennys lap and hugged him.They seem to have taken a liking to kenny.

I looked at kenny and he didnt seem to mind the girls on him, hugging him. He just wrapped his arms around them both and hugged them back.

I smiled at the sight of this. It was so sweet seeing kennys soft spot for my sisters already. He was speaking to them both in a soft tone and then they dragged him up to there room to play barbies or something.

Just before he leaves the room he looks at me and gives me a genuine smile and i smile back at him. I loved how good he was with kids especially my sisters.

Me and my mum continued to talk for a while. She asked about kenny and how we was and then some more about beta squad. I could tell my mum liked kenny aswell. She had a small smile on her face when asking about him.

After about 15 minutes i went upstairs to my sisters room. The door was open and i went up and leaned against the doorway watching kenny and my sisters play barbies. He was moving his barbie around on the floor and doing a high pitched voice when speaking like the barbie. Both my sisters would laugh whenever he spoke as the barbie because of how funny he sounded.

Kenny noticed me and gave me a small smile. He had to look away as the girls were moaning about how his barbie was supposed to be cooking the fake food. Once he had a moment he looked back to me and spoke.

"you okay darling?"-kenny said smiling at me again.
"yeah you?"
"yeah im all good."
"good. Having fun playing the barbies?"
"oh yeah lots of fun. Me neve and sofia are the best barbies to exist"-he said looking back to the barbie house that theyve got the barbies in.
"good. We've got to go soon though ken."
"what? why?"-kenny asked seeming genuinely upset.
"We have a beta squad shoot. We will come see them again soon and youve still got 10 minutes."
"okayyy"

He went back to playing barbies and i went downstairs. I sat back down with my mum and we spoke some more.

"kenny seems like a nice lad"-my mum
"He really is. The girls love him. There playing barbies. Hes genuinely upset to have to leave them both."
"thats sweet."-my mum
"i know. Ill bring him with me next time if that's okay. Hes doing a really funny barbie voice aswell."
"aw bless."-mum.

*I smiled at her and checked the time. I knew we had to leave now but i felt so bad. I got up and went upstairs*

"kenny love, We've got to go."
"nooo."-kenny
"yesss."
"fine. Bye neve bye sofia, i'll make ellie bring me over again soon and we can play barbies again."-he says to the girls.

He gets up and both the girls do to. They both hug him and he happily hugs them back. All four of us go downstairs and i hug my mum to say bye. He goes to shake her hand, awkward on what to do. Instead of shaking his hand back my mum pulls him into a hug. I see him smile and his awkwardness leave as he hugs her back.

We walk out and get in the car. My mum and the girls stand out on the door step and wave to us as we drive away.

"your family are so sweet."-kenny
"they love you already."

He smiles and puts a hand on my thigh. Throughout the whole beta squad shoot hes in a good mood smiling and laughing more then usual and everyone can see how happy he is.

After the shoot we all go to get food and he's telling the rest of beta squad all about my sisters and the game of barbies they played. He also tells them about my mum and how she hugged him before they left.

Its so cute how he describes my sisters. His soft spot for kids is one of my favourite things about him.

Once we're home hes asking if i can text my mum to check on the girls and her. He also asked me to thank them for him. I've never seen him so happy after meeting new people.
