So-yoon would seldom notice dark red or bluish marks on her brother's neck whenever he wore a  round neck t-shirt at home. She didn't want to invade his privacy, so kept quiet and tried to cover up for Jungkook whenever he would come home late. Talking on own, checking out in the mirror again and again after getting dressed up, smiling like a shy teenager were all signs of first love that she experienced when her crush, now boyfriend, approached her the first time in high school.

"Here." A tube of ointment was thrown on the bed.
"What's this noona?"
"For your new tattoos." So-yoon pointed at his neck that made him instantly cover up the marks with his fingers.
"I actually got hurt."
"No need to make up stories, Kook. Just don't let anyone play with your feelings."
"He is different, noona."
"You said the same about others too."
"You don't have to worry about me, I'll be fine." He back hugged his sister to assure her that he is all grown up now and can handle these emotions on his own.

The clock was running too slow for Jungkook. Each minute passed like an hour which was pissing him off. All his impatience ended when it was finally 4 in the evening declaring his day off. He took the backpack and threw the strap around his arms and ran out of the class. He was still assigned to Park Robin as an intern, but Namjoon has started going to the studio again.

A car was waiting a few yards away from the entrance gate which was not unfamiliar to Jungkook. He hopped in only to be pulled in by the person in driver's seat for an intense kiss.

"When are you taking me back in your team, hyung?"
"I don't have a team, Jungkook and as you are assigned to Robin-shi's team, I cannot ask them to assign you back under my supervision. It will create unnecessary drama."
"But I liked it more in your studio." Jungkook pulled a face that looked too cute to the elder.

"Don't make this harder for me than it already is."
"So you miss me?" A smirk played on the younger's face.
"I didn't say that."
"That means you do miss me in your studio." The bunny teeth were peeking from the gap in between the lips causing Namjoon to lose his mind, so he kept his vision fixed at front and focused on the driving.

The bags lying on the floor while the couch was occupied by a man sitting on it and another straddling the former. Namjoon was sucking hard onto Jungkook's lower lip grabbing him by thighs while the later was holding Namjoon's collar for balance. They gave up when both fell out of breath.

Red hickeys were painted on the neck and collar bones causing the shirt to be almost falling off the younger's body. Namjoon carried him to the bedroom and it was around 8 in the evening when both came to their senses that they have a regular life and Jungkook needs to return home. He was dropped off safely at home and he kissed the chauffeur goodbye. Namjoon loved serving as his body guard as he just wanted more time with him.

"Hyung, you know what happened today!"
"What happened?" Namjoon asked taking a break from kissing the other person's buds as they were in the middle of having sex while Jungkook started chattering about his day. After few initial encounters, nowadays he feels more comfortable with the elder and keeps talking about random things even when they are in most intimate position.

"There is a boy named Ji-suk in Robin shi's team who was talking about a college friend of his. It's so scary."
"What is so scary about it?" Namjoon went back to relishing the beautiful body under him.
"Ji-suk's friend is admitted to a rehabilitation centre. He was abusing drugs for a long time."

Jungkook was caressing Namjoon's head and the later's tongue was deep buried in Jungkook's bellybutton when he heard the most dreaded term. He raised his head up to make eye contact with the younger's sultry gaze.

"How is he now?"
"Fine I guess, but under treatment."

Namjoon knew it was time to talk about his past with the person he has fallen deeply for. He cannot hide the dark time he spent depending upon dangerous materialistic pleasure. He lied beside Jungkook and pulled him closer.

"Jungkook, can I tell you something?" Jungkook was confused as the artist didn't use the entire canvas for his artwork today.
"Anything bothering you, hyung?" He placed his hand on Namjoon's chest to feel his heart beat. It was a habbit.
"I had a similar past too."
"You had what?" His eyes got shot opened.

"It was back when I was in high school. A friend of mine introduced me to it and then gradually I started to completely depend on it for my virtual happiness. When my sister found out, she helped me a lot while my parents were about to disown me for this." Jungkook placed his head on Namjoon's chest.
"Don't ever repeat that hyung. It can destroy your life." Namjoon was surprised to see the calmness in the younger's response.

"Don't you have anything to ask?"
"Ask about what hyung?"
"About my incorrect life choices."
"It wasn't your choice, it was a mistake that you rectified later on."
"So you don't have any problem with this?"

Before Namjoon could ask the question again, soft snores could be heard from the person resting on his chest. He woke him up later to drop at home, but this topic was not discussed for the second time that day, but the absence of any judgment from Jungkook made him happier.

그대여 더는 뒤돌아보지
많은 파도 지난 뒤에
무수한 만일이 괴롭혀도
이젠 니가 지켜줄 거야

Dear, don't look back anymore
After all those waves have gone by,
even if those countless 'what if's torment you,
now you'll be protecting yourself

Namjoon slept peacefully that night. Maybe he doesn't have to look back into the past. The hard times were over marking the commencement of the good ones. Now he has the person he loves the most with him. He has gained enough strength to protect himself.

It was his number 2 chance in life.
