Kou eventually made it to the stones and saw Hanako weaving flowers in the air as he laid he back across Mitsuba's lap as he hummed softly. "Should I give you both a minute or-" The two jumped up, faces blood red, and Hanako dropped the half finished dandelion crown on the grass.
"You aren't usually here this late, why are you here?" Hanako asked as his face slowly became less red and he sat on his stone.
"I found out your names....also what are the lyrics to that song??" Kou asked as he looked over at Mitsuba who was giving the crown back to Hanako.
"I....I only remember the melody.....I was hoping that the lyrics would come back to me at some point.....but they haven't...." Kou nodded as he sat down on the grass. "You said you found out our names??" Mitsuba asked as he looked over from Hanako to Kou.
"Oh yeah, Hanako's is Amane Yugi, you're Mitsuba Sousuke...do those names sound familiar at all??" Kou questioned as he looked at the two transparent boys' faces.
"Yeah...it sounds familiar..." The two said at the same time, making Kou smile.
"I'm glad that you two at least know your names now...I'll do my best to find out how the both of you died!" He said smiling proudly making Hanako burst out laughing. "What now?"
"Nothing~ just...how do you expect to do that if you're grounded? The sun set completely around five minutes ago." Hanako said grinning making Kou's face turn pale.
"Sorry guys I'll see you again soon!!" Kou said loudly before running out of the forest and back to the house and Teru looked at him very upset.
"Where have you been?! You've been doing this for weeks! Is it something at school that's bothering you?! Is it some demonic spirit?! What's wrong with you.!" Teru shouted as he looked at Kou with clear disappointment in his eyes.
"I'm just helping a spirit move on Teru it's fine—"
"You aren't allowed to. You're the weakest in the family. Even Tiara is stronger than yo—"
"Tiara is stronger than both of us. And she'd be fine with this. Mom and dad would be fine with it!"
"Well they aren't here!" Teru shouted loudly as he glared at Kou. Kou stayed silent as he pushed past Teru and walked to his room, closing and locking his door before laying in bed. A small part of him thinking about running away, a thought he had often, but he couldn't leave the two alone. Teru sucked at cooking, Tiara wasn't old enough to.....the more Kou thought about it the more he realized he did everything around the house with no help and not even so much of a thank you.
Maybe he should give credit to the thought plaguing his mind.
