The family of Sousukes moved to this village only recently, a wife, husband, and only son are the only known recording of the family being in this town.
Neither of the parents of the boy have ever told their names to I or any other resident in this village. They have spoken about the boy, Mitsuba Sousuke, however it was typically negative or condescending.
The father, Mr.Sousuke, works as a photographer for the local businesses when they need to promote a new product. The mother, Mrs.Sousuke, works at the bakery and occasionally helps cook at the local soup kitchen.
Mitsuba Sousuke was enrolled into the local high school, but was abruptly pulled out of the school after only being in for a couple of months. The parents stated this is because they decided to imbrace the husband's family tradition of raising and teaching the children at home rather than at school.
Mitsuba has not been seen outside of the house since his mother explains this as it simply being that Mitsuba has very strong social anxiety and often gets deathly scared of leaving the house.
The parents of Mitsuba Sousuke believe something happened at the school to make him this terrified but they have not been able or allowed to look into it further because of the school's own restrictions to non-students.
"Is it just me or do the parents seem a bit suspicious in this? I mean, they don't say their names, they take him out of the school, Mitsuba wasn't seen after, and they make up excuses." Kou said as he closed the file and set it back inside the cabinet after writing down the details that could be important to the story of Mitsuba's murder.
"We could go interrogate them in the morning? We could say we were a couple of Mitsuba's friends and we want to help them understand why he's so scared now!" Nene suggested as she smiled, looking up from the notepad she had scribbled details on.
"What if they know how Mitsuba died and think we're suspicious for it?" Kou asked as he looked back at her.
"If they're suspicious of us it would only be because you're new or because they killed him...speaking of which how do we explain how you two are friends if you're new?" Nene asked trying to set a story for the two of them.
"...We'll say while the two were at work one day Mitsuba decided to try leaving the house, I met him and we became friends but with people all around him he got scared so I walked him back to the house," Kou reasoned as he walked back to Nene and sat down beside her. Nene nodded, smiling as she looked at the notes on the notepad infront of her.
"Hopefully this will be enough to help him then."
