Nobody's POV:

It was a warm day in Avidya Forest. Warmer than usual. However, one girl in particular still wanted to learn from her teacher.
The sun was almost blinding and there were no clouds in the turquoise sky, the leaves of the towering trees sheltered the forest from the sun's rays. The water glistened but suddenly that silence was broken by a pitter patter of Collei.

Collei's POV:

Oh noooo! I'm late for Master Tighnari's lesson!!! After a while, I get to Tighnari's house. I knock on and he invites me in, I take my bag off my back but I drop it and it makes a loud bang. I feel bad because Master Tighnari has sensitive hearing. He looks at me startled and he gives me a soft smile, he is too nice to me.

We settle down on the floor when he gives me some lessons on the forest and duties as a forest ranger. After a while, Rana - a forest watcher, enters and informs Master Tighnari that there is a new area of the forest that has been discovered and it needs to be explored by him and him only. He excuses himself from our lesson and says he'll be back soon. So I wait for his return.

Tighnari's POV:

I had to leave mine and Collei's lesson because of a new area of the forest so I walk to the destination while admiring the scenery. I get to the place and start exploring, I come across a cave so I shrug it off and walk inside. I come across some coal and I don't see the problem with mining it so I walk over to it when I step on some unstable planks of wood and I crash through the floor! Then everything goes black.

After what seems like three hours, I wake up and I'm still in this cave. However, I fell from a high distance so there's no way I'm getting back up...wait. What about Collei!? Is she still waiting? She must be worried! Oh no! Oh no! Oh no! My ankle is probably sprained so I can't move and it's very painful...

Wait...I see a silhouette. Who....or what is
That?
"Hello..?" Tighnari asked nervously, there's no reply except the silhouette was getting closer. I start to sweat and I worry about Collei...I close my eyes tightly for comfort.

Suddenly I hear running coming towards me. Tears drifted down my face and at that moment someone cupped my face. I open my eyes to be greeted by a boy with scarlet eyes that shine like a ruby.

"W-who are you?" I ask confused by the boy in front of me.
"I'm the boy who just found you, be glad!"
He replied.

I can't stop the tears from streaming down my cheeks so he takes notice of them and wipes them away with his finger. He notices my ankle and sees I'm in pain even though I try to hide it. Then he does something completely out of the blue, he picks me up!!!
