"They say it was the bloodiest games yet. The winner is a girl from District One!" a small brunette boy exclaimed as he ran into a rundown home in District Twelve.
"My mom told us that we are too young to watch those games," a dark-haired girl warned her best friend as he entered her home.
"It's hard to ignore it when everyone is talking about it!" the boy continues, "Apparently everyone thought she would lose. She was too kind and relied on her allies. Until the end when they tried to ambush her and she easily fought them off. It was all an act!"
The girl rolls her eyes when she hears the brunette boy's excitement.
"Gale, you know those games only bring out the worst in people," the girl scolded.
"But Katniss, she was like a wolf in sheep's clothing!" Gale argued back, "totally unpredictable."
"What was her name?" Katniss asked, somewhat interested.
"Persephone Chase!" Gale replied.
