Beyoncé's POV
I parked my black Royce Rolls into the familiar parking lot.
I sighed as I looked up at the mansion ahead.
Opening my door then moving to the back of the car to remove Sasha from her car seat.
"You ready to see your daddy?" I sighed looking into her brown eyes.
And I swear she gave me a little frown
"Because I know I'm not." I chuckled then lightly tapped her tiny little nose.
I placed her gently on my shoulder and put one arm around her so she could be comfortable.
I walked on the stone pavement all the way to the front of the house looking at the black door that when opened would send memories rushing into my head again after I tried so hard to forget them.
Oh well.
I knocked on the door waiting for someone to answer.
I kinda was jumping as I was trying to keep Sasha calm.
I heard the unlocking of the door and watched as the silver knob turned and the tall man opened the door.
I smiled weakly at him as I looked at his face.
He looked stressed. I know he's been working for me since I was still on maternity leave. He smelt kinda funny and the house smelt straight up like liquor.
"Beyoncé?" He asked then I realized it was his breath it was a mix of alcohol and smoke.
"Are you okay?" I asked even though I could see the answer.
"Yeah, come in." He smiled back at me.
"Your hair, It changed." He pointed out and I remembered I had my short blonde bob now instead of my long curls.
I just nodded yes.
I looked at our, his house it was very clean I was impressed. I had thought that he had gone all depressed and shut but the house was fine it just reeked of marijuana and beer.
"You brought Sasha?" He chuckled trying to take her from my arms but I backed away from him and raised an eyebrow.
"No. I don't trust you... At the moment." I looked at the floor then back up at him.
He gave me a confused look.
"This whole place smells like weed. And you do too." I brought sat on the couch and sat Sasha on my lap. I switched on the television and reruns of Jersey Shore were on. One of my old favorites.
"I'm gonna change. Please don't go anywhere." He pleaded before disappearing into the dimly lit hallway.
My house hadn't changed much since I left it.
Other than the people in it nothing had changed.
I got up still holding Sasha and headed into what I can remember my room. Wanting to know what had happened to it.
I walked in and saw all my pictures on the wall still but all of the furniture was gone.
"Goodwill." Shawn said behind me startling me.
"Shit." I muttered under my breath.
"Don't curse in front of Sasha."
"Don't scare me then." I rolled my eyes at him.
"So you gave all my furniture to goodwill?" I looked up at him.
"Yeah why not?" He chuckled.
"So you knew I wasn't coming back?"
