A long day, that was what one could call it. It was a long day for our two favorite characters, or at the least it felt that way.Yet despite how long it felt, it seemed to go by so fast.
They went to stores, though neither could buy anything due to their lack of funds at hand, and they talked with one another. Then they took a nice walk around some nicer areas like parks, fountain's, etcetera, then they talked. Then they checked out a few more establishments, window shopped, and yes...they talked with one another. That was basically ninety-percent of their date, talking...and neither would have it any other way.
What did they talk about? Heroes and God, in other words the usual, but they enjoyed it nonetheless; oh, they did talk about their internships and what they've learned as well. Shiozaki expressed her discomfort of weight training, which peaked his interest, and Izuku spoke of his discomfort of sparring with Gran Torino in several different ways, one as such being where he was only meant to ensnare the old man for a quick capture, which caught her interest.
All of it was simply...perfect, they both thought. But, it seemed that whenever they had the chance to ask the other or tell the other if they loved them, some strange occurrence would happen. Whether on purpose, where as they both hesitated once more, and on accident, where they tripped, lost it in their joy, or simply were interrupted by outside forces.
Which currently lead them to now, a train ride straight towards the Midoriya household, or at the least the stop closest to it. And what would they both describe now? Warm, and tender.
While not yet asleep, our two shippies sat beside one another with shoulders pressed against one another, chests each close enough that it tickled, and their heads resting against one the others. Their hands were elsewhere sadly, Izuku's were at his side or in his lap, whilst Ibara's own were paced palm against palm snuggly between her legs; but if they were being honest, how they were was already plenty.
Funnily enough, the reason as to why they were like this was simply because neither could decide whom should lay their head on whose shoulder. Both were fine with being the 'little spoon' of this equation, but were too nice to take the opportunity and instead wanted their partner to have the offer. They awkwardly stuttered over one another, offered for the other to do so, and eventually came to the agreement of simply leaning their heads against one another with pink cheeks.
This was fine too though...if anything it was better.
Midoriya could only breathe out hums of utter joy right now, one might say literal hearts were emitting from his nostrils and lips with each huff he gave. One could barely blame him though because, after all, he was cuddled up against his favorite person in the whole wide world.
The silky smoothness of her hair, the soft jabs that each of her thorns gave against his temple, and whatsmore was that soothing aroma that they seemed to carry about them. He still found it weird of him to find himself so infatuated with something as how her hair smelt, but he also almost didn't care because it was just so gosh darn addicting. Another thing that he yet again could not get over how euphoric it was, was just...listening to her. The sounds that her body made felt like the world's greatest ASMR being trickled into his mind; her soft breath, the tempo of her heart, the stretching of her vines with each movement she made, it was all just so relaxing.
