"Alright Shiozaki, that'll be all for today.".
Through huffs spouting hither and thither through her lips, Ibara replied, "*Huff*, yes Sensei.", before collapsing down to her knees on the mat floor. "Forgive me, *huff*, mine legs no longer seem to have the strength god hath granted them for today. *Huff* *huff*.".
It was the second day of our favorite girls internship at Kamui Woods' agency, and to say the least of all things, she was beat.
The start of her day was nice, awaking to the lush and sereneness that was a spare room Kamui gave her within the agency itself, and a nice warm cup of oolong tea. Then she was called down to Kamui's office, where they briefed what they would be doing that day. The day efore they merely focused on grasping her basic abilities and essentially Ibara was told to do what she did normally.
Now imagine her surprise, when she was basically told to scrap all of it for that day.
The wood hero truly did like her style of fighting, which wasn't even fighting was more so capturing which was exactly what he did, but he also wanted to focus on two things about her quirk. The ability to harden her thorns, and her well being effecting her quirk.
So, she was thrown into the gym with him and Shiozaki was thrown into the pain of weight training. Kamui Woods' idea was that if her main body could lift say a average built person, then her hair vine will be able to multiply that into something such as a car or even all the way up to heroes like Mt Lady if she trained hard enough. So she was set to work, lifting bars, dumbbells', and other weight lifting items with both her body and her hair.
The hardening part was a tiny bit difficult since she at first felt that it clashed with her mostly pacifistic fighting style. The upstart hero's reasoning was that she could simply use it as a better grip on things, like buildings, or as a sort of deterrent to prevent any ideas of struggle since, c'mon anyone ever fall into a rose bush? Yeah, you don't want to move in the slightest because of how painful each prick feels.
With such reasons she conceded with the idea. Though they were going to focus on that mostly tomorrow.
She had long knew that training underneath a pro hero, let alone THE Kamui Woods, would be difficult and se was prepared for it; but god protect her if it didn't sting her entire body as if she was a fly in a hornets nest. The green haired girl's body felt so much agonizing throbs and aches across her muscles, and hair strands, that she started to think this was what Izuku felt yesterday evening when she face timed him. By the lord she felt even worse for him, because while she may be a tiny bit scuffed and have one or two mat burns, he was on the other line smiling with the grace of an innocent angel while he held bruises and scathes all across his very being.
What circle of hell had the audacity to even do such a thing to him?
Gran Torino, and she was conflicted on whether or not she should be exited, or terrified to be meeting him.
Yes, Kamui had managed to reach out to Gran Torino and the gruff old man had allowed for the two students, ONE day of joint training together...On the last day of the internships. When we say the last day, we mean like the last day, and the very last three hours that day held; "Every minute was going to be counted.", he said. It didn't so much infuriate her, but more so confused her on why the hero was so stingy about the two students training with one another.
None the less, she was excited to be able to train alongside our protagonist, after all she was honestly excited to train alongside a close friend, but there were also a few things she wanted to speak to him about; concerning many different characters she knew. Two being named with the letter K to start. That, and a name starting with I and it wasn't Izuku.
