My shouts and yells are being silenced by this hand on my face covering my mouth. My both hands are under the tight grip of another man. I struggle to loosen up from their grip but it all ends in vein. I look through the hole in the wall and see Richard lying onto the wall and I see Auden beating up a man on the ground. I have to let him know that I am here.
I bite on the man's hand and he withdraws his hand and shakes it in pain. I take this time and shout with every bit of energy left in me "BEHIND THE WALL." Just then I feel heat and throbbing pain on my cheeks. That man slaps me hard in my cheeks and he presses his hand harshly on my mouth. "Let's move her somewhere else" says the man holding my hands.I try to stay stiff so that they can't move me that easily. Both of them are pushing me to some room but I try not to go there. The sound of footsteps gets louder and louder and I let that hope sink in. I use that hope to fight the men. And that's when I see the man pushing me from behind fall to the ground in front of me. I look back to see Auden beside me. He then looks at me and then to my hands which are under the grip of the man. He then punches the man and as a result he moves backwards. Auden pulls me closer to him. He takes my hand and leads me to the corner. Just then one of the man hits him on the back from behind. Auden turns and hits him on his stomach and then his face again and again. The other man comes to help the man who is now lying on the ground and Auden kicks him. He then hits him on the face I hear something crack. Oh no.... No.... There's blood everywhere. On the floor, on their face, their shirt, on Auden's knuckles...... No.... My vision is all blur and all I can hear is sound of Auden hitting them. No..... "Auden" I shout " let's get out of here please" I beg him cause I can't handle this anymore. Auden doesn't seem to hear me. "Please Auden" I wail. Auden stops kicking that man and walks towards me. He takes my hand and lead me outside. He holds my hand tight and pulls me closer to him. I see his car outside and on the side I see Richard lying on the ground leaning onto the wall. Auden's thumb slowly moves back and forth my palm and it feels soothing in a weird way.
" hhhmmm lucky you got here in time isn't it?" I flinch on hearing his voice. Auden stops on his track. "Let's go" I say in a low voice and we walk towards the the car. " Natasha" I hear him laugh. " it's fine if you don't agree to the deal. But who is she to you? You don't mind sharing her for one night do you? I can give you enough supplies if......" Auden's hand leaves mine I turn to see him grab a beer bottle. He moves to Richard swinging that beer bottle. He bends down and take Richard by his collar.

I see Auden stretch his arm about to swing the bottle on his head. I close my eyes. "Auden please NO"I wail. I close my eyes because i dont have it in me to see what will happen next. I hear the bottle crack. No he didn't. Noo I open my eyes preparing myself to see a broken skull and blood everywhere. But there isn't. I see broken pieces of bottle lying on the ground next to Richard. Looks like Auden smashed the bottle on the floor making Richard flinch. Auden kicks Richard as he gets up. Richard wails in pain. Auden comes to me takes my hand. He walks me to his car. He opens his car door for me and I get in.
We drive out of the alley and the silence is killing me. I notice how hard Auden is griping his steering wheel as if he is trying to suppress his anger. His knuckles are pale white with blood here and there. "What where you thinking Hazel?" I hear him shout. I don't have nothing to say. "What in the hell where you thinking? Just because you are all on your own doesn't give you the right to roam around at late hours" he shouts again. He hits his steering wheel and I gasp in fright. I feel wetness on my cheek. It's the tears that where threatening to spill. I move closer to the window and look out trying to hide myself from him. At the corner of my eye I see him shifting his gaze from the road to me and back to the road. I bite down my cheek to silence my sobs. I don't want him to see me in this state.And he is the last person i want to see.I am really grateful that he showed up, but why couldnt it be any other person.After like ten minutes of silence.I hear him take a long sigh. " Hazel" he says. I'm taken back by the softness in his voice rather than him shouting at me. "Hazel... It's not safe to take these short cuts especially at night. People like Richard they are dangerous crimi..." "I know Auden, I know" I cut in annoyed for some reason. And i hate how different my voive sounds after all the things that happened. I cry now this time and i hide my face in my lap. I know what I did was wrong. But I don't want him to remind me what I did was wrong. We drive in silence for the rest of the drive. "Are you hungry?" He asks me halfway. I turn to look at him for the first time through this drive. Is he serious? He shifts his gaze from the road to me. We stare at each other for a second. "Mmm yes" I say breaking the eye contact. "What do you want to have?" He asks looking back to the road. "Mmm pizza?" I say doubtfully. "Pizza" I see Auden's lips twitch. After a second of silence he says"ya why not".
