"Yesterday night was amazing wasn't it"
WHAT........
"what are you talking about" I ask before my mind jumps into conclusions.
"I don't think knowing what happened will make you any better" he says with that sarcastic smirk paying on his lips.
"Just tell me, jerk" i say trying my best to keep calm.
"Its just from the moment you saw me at the party you started to throw yourself at me that i had to take you to your bedroom".
"What, no you are joking"
I hear his laugh playing in my ears. And its really annoying.
" I put you to bed and left even though you were begging for me to stay. But I left because I don't have it in me to face you. The drive itself was enough for me" he says like he had overcome a freaking world war. Maybe i did give him a hard time. Anyways he deserved it actually.
"So nothing" I ask him again as part of me needs double reassurance.
"Nothing if you don't count the drive" he says with that smirk and walks away.
"Jerk" I say under my breath. I weird relief washes over me as i see him exit the classroom. And that too in the middle of the lecture.

It's time for lunch and I'm grabbing my things from the classroom.
"hey" i hear a familiar voice. i look up to see josh.
" Did you leave early from the party" he asks me
"yes, i wasn't feeling very well" I say to him.
"Seems like someone drank a bit too much" he says playfully.
" so are you free tomorrow evening" he asks me.
"mm yes why?" i ask as I am a bit confused.
" I was wondering if we could hang out and I have to buy a few book and I was wondering if you could help me out" he asks hopefully.
"ya sure" i say with a smile.
"ok then I'll pick you tomorrow after school" he says as his face brightens up.
I walk to the cafeteria and spot Lyla and Raven. I grab my food and walk towards them.
" I am happy that I can see you alive after yesterday" Raven says playfully.
We all eat our lunch and talk about random stuff and they told me that Raven is hosting a sleepover and they will pick me up after my part time job. It's my first sleepover and I am exited. Its going to be fun. We finish eating lunch and make our way to the our classes.

Today is like every other day in the cafe, busy and crowded. But I enjoy it though, maybe its the fact that how every one is so helpful. The one thing I love about this place is that it's people. They are helpful, forgiving and supportive. And that makes my job so much easier. I haven't seen Auden in the cafe after that scenario.
As exams are approaching I can't help but think over the fact that will I be able to pass chemistry exam with Auden as my lab partner. I just can't seem to concentrate with him around me.
I change my uniform as Lyla calls me. I head out to see her waiting for me. I get in the car and we drive of to Ravens house. Her mother greets us with a warm smile and we both head to Raven's bedroom. Her bedroom is pretty big not as big as Lylas but still big.
We all get changed into our pajamas and we grab a lot of snacks from the kitchen. At that time we hear the door bell ring and SURPRISE! its pizza. Pizza is my favourite food in the entire universe. If you slide me a pizza at midnight I will make no effort to refuse it. We eat a lot of junk food that a man can eat. We watch like two seasons of FRIENDS. We then decide to play board games and for some reason I really want to know more about Josh.
"Josh asked me to help him buy some books tomorrow" I say looking up from the game.
"What Josh asked you on a date?" Lyla asks. And she is really stunned.
"Its not a date, he just asked me to help him out" I say in defence.
"Josh never asks for help" Raven says.
"I think Josh likes you" Lyla say to me.
"what no" I say, that girl has serious problem.
"Ok fine whatever it is just look out for yourself" Raven tells us.
"What do you mean" I ask them.
"Its nothing to worry about, his friends are losers. They are like those who use girls they are known for that." Lyla says to me.
"but Josh doesn't seem like that and as far as we know he is not like his friends. And he has no girlfriend history or drama" Raven says as she winks at me.
" Lets just play " I say. I feel relieved and disturbed at the same time.
We stay up late to watch a horror movie and we all end up sleeping in between the movie. The sleepover was fun and its one the nights I like to cherish forever.

It's the last hour and I am bored. I just can't wait for this hour to get over.
AND FINALLY.....
I walk out of the classroom I take my things out of my locker and i notice a message on my phone. It's josh saying he is waiting for me. I grab my things and head out. I see josh waving at me .
I get into his car and the car is filled with a smell that is close to lavender but its something else.
After 10 minutes of drive we make it to the book store. We walk inside and the smell of books and fresh pages hits me like a gentle breeze. Seems like Josh had a clear idea on which book he needed to buy cause he had a very specific list of the the things he needed.
After getting all the things in the list, Josh finds me lingering in the rom-com section. And I couldn't help myself from blabbering about my favorite books and guess what, he bought the book and it made me very happy.
Josh said that he was starving and said that i should try food at the place known a Macey's. After 10 minutes drive we reach this place and i know what he meant. This place is crowded and most of the tables are full. This place is not bright like the cafe I work in. This place is dark with yellow lights here and there. And I spot many people from my school. As the inner dining area is full we decide to sit outside. They have an outer dining area too.
We oder our food and we wait. The sky is filled with stars and I spot the the moon shining brightly at us.
"You are more of a night person,right?" He asks me as he saw me gazing at the sky.
"Night times are peaceful, I guess" I say .
"You didn't really need help with the books, right" i ask him and he slightly turns pink to which I laugh.
"not really. " he says growing nervous. The waiter appears with our food and places it infront of us. We both start eating and the food is mouth watering.
I savour every bite of my burger.
We talk about casual things and about the match, how he is trying out new tactics and stuff. Here and there he asks questions about my past and I try to avoid it. He really wanted to know about my parents and I made things up. I said I have a normal family and my parents are living in my home town and stuff. As we got in the car I really wanted yo reach home this instant cause the last minutes of our conversation was very uncomfortable.
Josh drops me home and we say our goodbyes. I take a hot shower and change into my pajamas. As I lay on my bed i rewind all the events with josh. Everything was perfect till he changed the conservation to something personal.
I know one day I'll have to accept all the things that happened. But not now. The memory is still fresh and i should give to time to heal. Atleast time for it to clot.
