Killing time

Today it was a week ago that I had the tryouts for the Grand Union Hotel. I was so scared, Demi had come to my house to wait for the news together. We both were really scared for the outcome and we would kill time together otherwise we'd be waiting all day long alone.

"So do you know how you are gonna react when you get the job?" Demi asked me out if the blue while we watched our favorite Netflix show. " hm I don't know yet, that reaction will come when I get the news and my emotions will take over" I said to her. 

It was now 14:30 and I still didn't got a call we watched 1 and a half  seasons now, yeah we were waiting since early this morning. I paused the show and I looked at Demi " so tell me everything" I said to her. She looked at me really confused. "Tell you everything about what?" She asked me. "Well you know the girl from yesterday" I said "ohhhh" Demi said while turning red. She began to sit differently on the couch so I knew it was gonna be a good love story.

"Okay so after you left to the bathroom I wanted to run after you buttttt when I ran after you I bumped into someone, that girl. She began her story. We both said our sorrys to each others and we walked away. And when I arrived at the toilet it was full of people so I couldn't come in so I thought I'll wait outside for you because I know you really want to be alone when you are sad. Sooo I waited and waited but it took forever so I went to the bar to get something to drink. "Wait how long was I in the bathroom for?" I asked her because from her story it sounded like hours. "Oh around 10 minutes I think" Demi said. I just looked at her "go on" I said. "And then I saw her again at the bar and no one was sitting next to her so I took my chance and I sat next to her.........

"And than boom we kissed and I went home with her and I think you know what happened next"  Demi ended her story. "Okay okay nice to hear you had a lovely evening." I said to her laughing.

Now that she told me the story it was 45 minutes later. "Are you hungry?" I asked her. "Yes I am" Demi said. We ordered our favorite food and we began to watch the show again. I nerves grew bigger and bigger because it was getting later and later and still no call I actually began to give up my hopes but Demi said to me that I shouldn't give them up because the day is not over when it was the next day yeah then I didn't get it but she was right the day wasn't over yet so I still had a chance right?

We were sitting at the dinner table discussing what we should do next on our girls night out. " no no we already went out this week" I said after Demi told me she wanted to go out again. "Maybe we can go to a nice restaurant and go to the movies afterwards." I said" "o my god yes we should do that" Demi said. And as I was about to asked to what movie we wanted to go and what restaurant we should go to i felt my phone vibrate and not long after I heard my ringtone. "FUCK IM GETTING A CALL" i screamed. "COME ON PICK UP THE PHONE DUMDASS" Demi yelled and i grabbed my phone out of my pocket.
