Setteling

I arrived at the beginning of the afternoon, I was really happy with that so that meant that I had all day to settle in. I had gotten the keys to my apartment last week with the meeting. I als most forgot where it was but I than remembered I had gotten location on my phone. I got a taxi from the airport to my apartment.  Fortunately it wasn't really far from the airport. I talked the whole way with the driver, he was so nice he told me a lot of fun places, artists I need to listen to and some nice restaurants. That reminded me that I really have to go back to that cute cafe close to my new work ( I still can't believe I work there AHHHH).

I had arrived at my new apartment for a hour or so and I had cleaned a bit and I emptied my suitcases. I was now sitting in my couch to charge up a bit, moving is so tiering. I was planning to go to that cafe in around 30 minutes.

It was a nice day outside just as last week I only had my leather jacket on with a hoodie, I really looked like a hobo now, my hair was in a messy bun and I didn't had any make up on so you really could see my pale skin and since I almost didn't sleep last night so you really could see my restless face.

When I entered the cafe all the tables were full and I was greet by the old lady behind the counter so I walked up to her. While walking to the counter I saw the 5 guys again they were all laughing with each other since it was busy I stood in line almost at their table and they saw me, they greeted me what the fack how do they even recognize me while I look like I've been in the walking dead. "Hello again" the man with the brown hair and brown eyes said to me. "Hi again" I said. "You weren't here for a week have you been sick?" He asked me "no I was back in the Netherlands, today I moved here." I said. "Oh that's cool" he said. "Next" the old lady said. It was now my turn. "Oh hello dear, it's good to see you again" she said to me" how are you doing?l I asked her. "Better now that I see you again" she said "o my god that's sweet" I said back. "Do you want your usual?" She asked me I smiled and nodded "to go or for here?" " oh to go, there is no seat left I told her" " okay I'll make it for you" she said.

After a few minutes my coffee was done and I walked away. "Wait aren't you gonna drink your coffee here?" The man asked me "no, there is no place in here" I said. I saw him look to the other guys and then he said "you can sit here if you want?" He asked me at first I was hesitating because I didn't want to bother them, my answer took probably to long because than a other man who I remember was the half Dutch person said " we don't bite" I laughed and walked up to them. They all made place for me so that I could sit. It was actually quite nice, I could use some friends here. "So what brings you here?" One of them asked. "Well I got a job offer here that I just couldn't turn down." I said. "Well and what is that special offer?" An other one of them asked. " I got a job offer at a hotel here" they all looked at me, I think they thought I was gonna saw something fancy or something. "What is your name?" Someone asked. "Well my Name is Lara" I said. "Oh we also didn't introduced ourselves the brown haired guy said. "Well I'm Bojan" the brown haired man said. "My name is Jure" said the blond man next to Bojan. "My name is Nace" said the man with tattoos. "My name is Jan" said a man with a bit of a beard. "And my name is Kris" said the half  Dutch man. "I'll try to remember that" I said while laughing a bit.

We talked the whole afternoon, these guys are so fun and I learned a lot about them, they are a band and I found out that Bojan was the singer, Kris did the backing vocals and guitar, Jan played the guitar, Jan was also a guitarist, Jure was the drummer and Nace was the bassist.

We all walked out and we said our goodbyes. "Wait where do you live, maybe we have to walk the same way" Kris asked me. "Oh I live here around 10 mins away" I said "I don't know exactly what it's called but I know how to get there" I said a bit embarrassed. "But it's that way" I pointed to the left. "Oh well we also have to go that way" Jure said. And we all started to walk. The guys were joking the whole way and they were so funny, I hope we all see each other because those guys seem really cool as friends.

Now it only was 3 of us, Bojan, Kris and Nace lived somewhere else so they had to walk an other way at one point. Jure, Jan and me were still walking in the same direction. "Oh there it is" I said while pointing to a building. "O my god I also love there" Jure said. "O my god so you are the new neighbor" Jure said "yes that's me" "yeah I've seen the sold sign and I was like oh fun a new neighbor" Jure said. "I live in the building behind it. Jure and me said goodbye to Jan and we walked in the building "so on what floor do you live? I asked Jure. "I live exactly above you" Jure said. " oh lol" I said and we took the stairs because I lived on the third and Jure on the fourth. "Well I'm at my apartment now" I said on the third floor. "It was really fun with you guys today" I said to Jure. "Glad to hear you like us" Jure smiled. "We're glad to be here for you if you need someone, it's hard to start a new life in a whole different country." He said. "That's sweet of you guys thank you" I smiled. "See you soon" Jure said "see you soon" I said while I turned my key in the lock.
