Chapter 5

"You know what?" Monty asked Jasper. "It's about time that we do something, we should go get some water. We can find a river or something."

Jasper nodded in agreement. "Everyone else does so many things for the group, and sometimes I feel like we do nothing."

"That's probably because you're right. We don't do anything." Monty told him with a slight chuckle.

"Just tell someone before we leave, we need to take guns or - or something to protect us."

"Fox?" Harper gently shook her.

Fox opened her eyes, and moaned. "What now?"

"I have to wash your clothes."

Fox glanced down at her body and felt so ashamed. She had pile on herself last night, but didn't even notice.

"Ew." Fox said when she saw the Half-digested food that laid on and around her.

"Clarke?" Bellamy asked, as he stopped in his tracks.

"Yes?" Clarke stopped as well.

"C-Can I ask you something."

Bellamy badly wanted to smack himself for stuttering. Idiot! Bellamy thought.

"Of course."

Clarke felt her heart beat speed up.

Oh my God. Bellamy wants to ask me a question. What if he proposes like Octavia said?!

Clarke felt a huge smile come to her face at the thought.

Oh my God, Clarke! Stop grinning like an idiot.

"What's all the smiling for?" Bellamy asked, laughing at how wide she was smiling.

"Uh. Nothing. Nothing." Clarke shook her head.

"It had to have been for something." Bellamy told her, he was trying to embarrass her.

He loved the look she had on her face when she was embarrassed.

"It was for you, I was smiling about you." Clarke admitted.

Bellamy smirked.

"What did you want to ask me?" Clarke asked, slightly anxious.

"What did you want to ask me?"

Charlotte looked over at Octavia wide-eyed.

Octavia looked back at Charlotte, with her pointer finger up to her mouth, signaling her to remain silent.

Octavia and Charlotte hide in a large, green bush watching the two with excitement.

Just propose already, Bell! Octavia thought.

Fox sighed as she handed Harper her clothes.

Harper did her best not to act disgusted as she grabbed Fox's clothes.

"I'll be back soon, okay?" Harper asked as she turned her back to Fox and began to walk away.

"Okay." Fox nodded.

Wick looked over at Raven who was just waking up. He couldn't help but smile when he caught a sight of Raven.

"Gooooood morning." Wick said, cheerfully.

"Ha. Right back at ya." Raven yawned.

I can hear loud mouth Raven and Wick all the way from here! Octavia thought as she heard Raven and Wick's whole good morning conversation.

"Psst." Octavia quietly made the sound.

She wanted Raven and Wick to hear her, and shut up, but it would be a disaster if Bellamy heard her. He would be so mad!

After not getting noticed by either of the couples, Octavia repeated herself.

"Psssst!" This time she was slightly louder.

Raven looked around hearing the sound.

"What?" Wick asked her.

"I thought I heard -"

"Psssssssst!"

Both Raven and Wick shot their heads in the direction that they heard the sound come from.

They caught a sight of Octavia.

Octavia bright her finger to her mouth, then pointed at Clarke and Bellamy.

'shut up.' Octavia mouthed.

Raven and Wick both repositioned themselves so that they could see Clarke and Bellamy.

"Why are you so scared right now?" Clarke asked Bellamy with a small smile. "Hey, it's just me. No reason to be all weird."

Bellamy nervous face turned into a small smile.

"You always know how to make me feel better, Clarke."

"That's great." Clarke continued. "Can you just ask the question, now?"
