It didn't take long to get where we were getting reports of criminal activity from. Nezha sent three agents and I to the location where the other two agents kept an eye out and such. Tapping the wheel impatiently, but kept myself from getting distracted. Keeping my eyes on the road and watching out for any shooters on the sidelines elsewhere in the city.
If I knew anything, the show True Crime had an episode where someone got kidnapped. Or many others. I really didn't want to have to work through finding a person or many persons if they were already going to be found by someone else, either that or found dead.
So many people had gone missing within the years that passed. After I became an agent, I sent out to put each criminal behind bars.
But knowing me now, this was my responsibility. I wasn't going to have the ability to be lazy now. If I knew how the law enforcement system worked, it's that Nezha, who was the director of the FBI, was watching my progress through a small body cam. Yes. Each agent had one strapped onto their uniform. I was now sighing heavily when we made it to our destination at the now overly crowded station.
The train was further away from its stopping point. Underneath it was an old railway station that had not been used in quite some time now. Three years if I weren't mistaken. Wow.
It feels like ten. I told myself. "Earth to Kong! Keep your head in the game! We're here!" Said Ali, causing me to pull the van around a bend, parking in the alleyway so we didn't get spotted. Cloaking the vehicle with a device that was handed to me. This was never going to get old. It was like being a version of James Bond in a spy movie without having the cameras recording everything.
"Keep your head low. You and those three are dressed to look like civilians. Do NOT blow your cover. Understood?" Nezha asks, through my ear piece. I didn't say a word, but I agreed nonetheless. Walking with the three agents that were assigned to follow me. Step by step, we made it to the station. The crowd of people were going crazy, pointing out that the train ahead wasn't coming any closer than when it had. I spotted red lights underneath the underpass by the rails and realized that this place was about to soon go up in flames. I was surprised no one else could smell fuel in the air. Probably besides Ao Lee. He was trained for this sort of thing.
But, everybody in the station was in grave danger. I needed to get them out before it was too late. But how could I? I couldn't blow my cover, so I acted along with the crowd and blended in just to be grabbed by Ao Lee. Signaling me not to go too far from them, since I had that habit of going elsewhere and getting lost.
Being in a crowd made it easier for me to slip past people and get myself onto higher ground. Walking step by step, soon looking at the backend of the building. Coming across a ladder that led to the roof. Climbing it briefly to now being higher than before.
I could now see the train. Which wasn't moving anymore. It was like it was stuck on the tracks somewhere.
"There you are-"
"Kong. You need to come back." Ao Lee's voice came through my ear piece this time, making me jump.
"I can't come back. I'm already on top of the-"
Soon I was shot at, causing me to duck and cover. Staying perfectly still. Hearing chatting below of where I stayed. Holy shit-- I don't know who shot at me. But whoever it was, it was from afar. There was only one person who could do that from that far of a distance.
"Kong."
Was all I heard, until he finished his sentence of; "Stay put. We're on our way." And soon static was greeting me.
Oh boy. I did it this time.

I saw a kid at the top of the station. Just stalking there. Watching. Either way, the kid looked way too familiar. He made me think of that no good pipsqueak. Sun Wukong I think his name was. Him and I knew each other from going to the same foster care facility together only many years before. Though he disappeared after he ran away from the foster home he was put in at that time.
I hadn't seen him since.
I just hoped that it wasn't him. Because if I knew anything of Sun Wukong it was that he had a big dream of stopping my advances when we were kids. I used to be his biggest bully.
"Ten minutes." Spoke Liu er, with that same signature smirk of his. "Time is running out, better get started before I start shooting people." Peng looked nervous for a moment. Unsure if this was actually happening or if he was actually dreaming. But knowing him, he wasn't stupid. This was definitely not a dream.
Everybody was struggling to get free of their restraints. Even the children were crying that it only brought a smile on the other's face.
Liu er was sadistic. Nothing ever phased him. Not even the innocent screams and cries of children.
After the ten minute mark was up, the train automatically started again. He smirks, checking his wrist like there was a watch.
"Time's up."
"Please--! There are children on board!" Spoke a lady, she had a daughter with long black hair right beside her. The child's cat hissed loudly at Liu er.
"I care why?" Asked the other, while the mother was still restrained by her wrists. Struggling further to get free. "If you're going to shoot someone. Don't let it be the innocent children! Let it be me! Shoot me instead!" Spoke . She was a mother. Yet she was risking her own life to save everyone.
"Mama, mama no!" The little girl was crying now when Peng, Azure and I all watched Liu er grip the woman by her neck. Picking her up to face him. Pointing his gun under her jaw.
"Oh~ you would prefer to die for the sake of everyone. Wouldn't you?" He asked, slyly.
"Very interesting."
Soon he moved his gun lower to her stomach.
The train had made it to the station. And two kids were seen on the other side of the glass door when it finally opened.
"Hey! Stop right-" Came a boy's voice only for moments of silence to ring out when Liu er shot one bullet into the girl's mother. Letting her restrained body fall to the floor.
"Mama? Mommy! Please wake up!" The little girl screams out, watching her cat chase after him. But, Liu er was gone from the scene. Like a shadow in the night.

- An hour later -
Someone died today. A little girl was now on her own. Without a mother to care for her. The law enforcement had arrived and took in the criminals at work. DBK. While the other two, had gotten away. I saw a man, another criminal early on who happened to shoot the girl's mother. Feeling pain in my chest, because I knew how she felt. Being left behind like that by my biological parents. It felt the same as it did to her.
But her mom passing away wasn't a choice. She was forced to die.
"Hey, bud. Long time no see." A familiar voice. I knew that voice as Sun Wukong, or AKA; Monkey King. He was good at what he did. He was my idol. I wanted to be just like him when I got older. But, what I witnessed today. I think I may need therapy.
"Wukong!" I shout, smiling now. I didn't care about my attendance anymore. What could missing one day of school do to me? I asked myself in my head. The little girl I found out was Bai He. She was crying, and from what I heard. She had no more family. She was an only child, so that was why her mother got her a cat. "I'm sorry you had to get caught up in this mess. But- I'm sure that everything will work itself out." He says, grimly. Looking over to Bai He. She was having a meltdown. Sobbing and hiccuping. The officer next to her offered a blanket and some hot chocolate. But she refused.
"No! I want mommy!" She shouts, childishly. Her nose was running and her eyes were puffy from crying for about an hour. I tear up, biting my lip. Liuna spoke to one of the directors, and nodded toward me. "He and I stepped into the cart and saw another man. That man shot that poor girl's mother. Whoever the hell he was. He loomed like a shadow-"
I was so quiet, it was almost scary.
Who was he?
Why did he have to kill only one person and spare all the rest? Why was this his plan?

I'm not crying, you're crying! ;w;
Also yes, that just happened. It's a part of the story!
