I want to again thank my new friend Connor345 for being such an inspiration! Reading their book taught me a few things about writing that I never knew! So-- thank you so much! 🐼

| 2 Weeks later . . |

Holding a meeting in our agency was a must. Ever since Kong's little mistake two weeks prior, we've been fighting tooth and nail just to manage to find the girl's father. Once we had come in contact, the agency spoke to him about taking his child under his wing just so she could be raised until she reached the age to travel on her own.

"Is every one all set?" I questioned, pulling a screen up on the white board. I Went to the beginning of the meeting to realize that Wukong was still absent from his seat when I looked around for him. When was that new though? He wasn't always absent. Most of the time he was doing his own thing elsewhere and being-- aloof. Hence why he was given the nickname Monkey King. His home was elsewhere away from the agency. It was given to him as a gift for being a part of our group. So it would make sense why he wasn't here.

Ao Lee gave a displeased sigh, placing his hand to his head, holding it there. Sat back in his chair and shook his head, crossing his arms over his chest. Crossing his leg over the other. Spoke; "Wukong is still not here." With a grim look on his face. Wukong was often the one with 'too-much-energy' as every agent who knows Kong calls him as.

"Sir. Is Kong being on the team really necessary for the company?" Asked a teen, she happened to be the age of nineteen or so. So young to join our cause, but it'll be worth it once we catch this mysterious killer that's been on the loose. We've looked everywhere for this 'mystery shadow' and came to find nothing as of yet.

It's only been two weeks. "Your question is as good as mine, Jessica. But to find the people we're looking for. We NEED him on our side to get information from the other side-" I comment in reply. Soon a light bulb appeared above my head. My face said it all that I had a really good idea. Jessica nods, then looks at Ao Lee. Her face turned pink because she happened to be his student. And he was her mentor. Unknowing at the time, she happened to crush hard on him. Jessica was the shy type. While Ao Lee was the serious type of man.

"Your orders, sir?" Ali questioned, sitting across from Ao Lee. "I hereby declare to all of those who attended this meeting to keep this away from the ears of Kong." I announce, "my orders are simple. Wukong is to go and find this 'mystery shadow' as an undercover civilian. And seek aid from their organization. Then. He will learn about this 'shadow' and gather as much info as he can. And report it back to us."

I end, "I declare this meeting closed. But the case is still open. Do not let Wukong find out. Ao Lee is to bring him to me. Am I clear?" I questioned everyone. I turned the screen on the whiteboard for no reason. Surely, we were going to discuss other matters. But, Wukong being absent put my mind elsewhere and thought to do something that will help him in some way.

Forgive me. Sun Wukong. But this must be done. For this is me trying to help you mend your mistake those weeks prior.

| An hour earlier . . |

"Oh man! I can't remember the last time that I slept that good!" I yawned, stretching my arms over my head. Sleeping became less of a chore. It was now the evening of Thursday. I had just woken up from a nap. Sighing softly, hearing my alarm on my phone going off. It read 'MEETING' on it in ALL caps.

UNDERLINED IN RED.

"OH SHIT!!" I complain, groaning under my breath. "Nezha is going to kill me!!" I shout at myself and face palm. I was never late to a meeting and this time I was beyond late! Nezha was going to have my head! Worse! Buddha would, too! Probably.
