| Five years later . . |
Wukong had lived with Bull and his family for five years. He had made friends along the way, but Bull was the only one who had a problem with Wukong being there for so long. But when he found out that he was going to be staying for more than a little while, he decided to deal with it. Every now and then another family would come and adopt a child. Sometimes even two. All Wukong could do was look out the window as his friends made their way into being adopted.
It's been five years. When was he going to be the next to find his forever home? Wukong sighed, then stood up. Pumping himself up, "I may not get adopted today, or tomorrow. But someday, I will!" He said to himself. While Peng stood in the door. "You really think you'll get adopted?" He asked. Wukong turned and shrugged, "I mean. One day, maybe." right as he looked out the window again he saw another car pull up. It was a black limo. And after it parked in front of the building, he got excited so he decided to run past Peng and Azure to get a better look. "Hey, what's the hurry?" Azure questioned, following him down the hall with Peng hot on his trail. "Is someone going to be living in another rich family?" Wukong asked himself, out loud. Trying to look over the door frame, jumping up because he was too short.
"Quit it, shorty." Bull argued. Slightly pushing him aside and opening the door. "They're here on business-" He goes on to say, going to walk onto the porch to then be cut off by his father. "Stay, boy." Kurt warns. Bull huffed, puffing his cheeks out a bit. "But I-" He went to protest. But his father glared over his shoulder as another warning escaped his lips. "That is a direct order." Kurt went out to greet the guests, as Wukong looked at Bull. "Are you okay?" He asked. Bull ignored him and crossed his arms, "whatever. It's always like this." Bull mentioned."It doesn't have to be." Wukong said. "Quit it already, monkey. No one cares." Wukong heard this from Azure and started over at him. "Oh yeah? Well I do! I care because he isn't just a brute Bull like everyone thinks he is!" Wukong said this so loud that it caught the other children's attention. "Brute Bull, huh?" Bull responded through a smirk, "you're not so bad. For a monkey." He joked, while everyone laughed. "Hey, I-"
"You said it yourself. What was it that you wanted to become? The Monkey King? Greatest agent of apes?" Bull goes to joke more, but Wukong immediately realizes that it was in fact an insult by saying it the way he did. "Take that back!" Wukong snarled, and Peng got in the way. Cutting both off from punching each other. They always did this, ever since the day they met. "Oh what? Are you going to cry? You are nothing but a stupid, turmoiled, insolent, big eared ape child! That's all you'll ever be!"
"That's enough!" Peng shouts, sighing suddenly. "Look, I know that you have beef with him just because of some needless or personal reason of your own. But don't let Zayla see you doing this to him." Peng pressed on.| Kurt |
| Ayyy! New POV! |The door to the limo opened by one of the many butlers who had been serving their master. I should say my best friend. "Well, well, look who decided to visit. Li, my friend, how are you?" I asked, helping him out. "I am very well. And you my friend have grown to be taller than the last I saw you, eh?" Asked Li, grinning. "Last time we saw one another it was when we went on that one in a long time heist together." I say with a grin. Li and I began laughing. The door to the limo opened and Li's wife walked out. She was the most gracious looking woman. Almost like an angel. "How do you do, Liana?" I questioned, lending my hand to her. "I am quite well, thank you. And yourself?" She asked and I smirked, "I am decent. Thank you." I answered. "You better be. If I caught you indecent I don't know how my husband would go about it." Liana said, jokingly. Li gave an eye roll. "Ha, ha, very funny you two." He comments. But as we went to walk we heard commotion on the porch. Peng was trying to stop my brat and some other brat I knew as Sun Wukong. I knew who he was the child of. He's been asking to know who his parents were for a very long time. Ever since he came to live with us. "Hold that thought." I said to Li and he nodded. "You better get back inside or otherwise there will be hell to pay." I said as clearly as I could.
