Backstory time! This will be about what occurred to make Liu'Er the way he is. If you remember reading a bit of a flashback of Sun Wukong and Macaque, then this will be a part of it. As time goes on in the story, it will eventually go back to the present. But for now, these are going to be the very few chapters of Macaque and Wukong's past. Also if you get confused, Wukong was pretty young when he was abandoned. He had to be about 10 or so. But it eventually gets to the part where it starts to make sense.
Without further adieu. I hope you enjoy the chapter!

| Flashback to many years earlier . . |
Being abandoned wasn't what Wukong thought would ever happen to him. He was young and didn't know much of anything. All he knew was that he was left for someone else to care for him. Only hearing himself sigh, while kicking a stone across the dirt road of the parking lot. His life had been perfect before this. He had everything. Nothing made sense. Why would his own parents give up on him? Sun Wukong then shrugged and got over himself. "Too bad for them. I'm a great company that they no longer have. I guess I'm on my own." He tried to keep a smile on his face, but it was hard. He just got left behind by the people who brought him into the world.
Wukong started making his way over to where he was now going to be living for the time being. Knocking on the door and waiting a while for it to open. He could hear a bunch of kids running around in the halls of the foster home where he was going to be stuck for a while. Once the door opened, one of the children looked him up and down from behind the woman. "Who's he?" The young red headed boy asked. "He looks ugly." He pressed on while cringing. "Easy up, Bull. He's the newest addition to our household." Wukong heard this kid call him 'ugly', but couldn't care less. "Look who's talking." He mentioned. Bull snarled, "who you callin' ugly? Fugly!" He was cut short by the lady of the house. "Bull. That's enough. Be nice to him, you hear? I don't want to have to put you in timeout again."
"But mom-"
"Ah. No buts. If you really want timeout again, then behave. Am I clear?" Zayla asked with a stern voice. "Yes ma'am." Bull grumbled. "Good. Now go and play with your friends." Before Bull ran off he gave a dirty look back at Wukong and huffed. Going down the hall with his hands in his pockets. "What's up with him?" Wukong asked. Zayla gave a soft breath, replied; "Forgive him. He's just having a bad day." while letting him into the house. He walked in and looked around. "Did you bring anything with you?" She asked him and he stopped in place to look at her. Shaking his head. "Nope!" He pops out with his words, a grin on his face. "I got dropped off empty handed." He jokes out. Shrugging. Zayla had him follow her to her office. Once they were inside, she had him sit in front of her desk. Zayla closed the door. She came around her desk and sat down. "Now tell me young one, do you have a name?" She questioned. Wukong gave her a look with his eyebrow. "Of course I have a name." He responded to her. "And what would that be? For example, my name is Zayla Peppers." Wukong suddenly bursts into fits of laughter. "Peppers." He stopped when she looked at him. "Oh. Right. My name is Sun Wukong. And I.. am going to be the king!" Wukong suddenly blurts. Standing up with his fist in the air. "The king of what?" She played along with his little game, or so she thought it was a game anyway. "I am going to be the king of agents one day! And they will call me The Monkey King!" Wukong got all excited about what his dream job would be when he got older.
Pumping his fist into the air and continuing on; "I want to be an agent that stops bad guys in their tracks before they can even think of doing bad to others!" He said and Zayla chuckled. "That's a bit of a silly title don't you think?" She asked him. Wukong sat back down and nodded. "Yeah, I guess so. But would anyone really like me if I told them that?" He questioned in response.
