SAM WILSON|FALCON

What the heck is even going on? Barnes comes along in my life. And bam. Chaos.

Barnes is living here and I have seen him what? Five times in three months. He doesn't come to the dinner table, he doesn't come when we call him. He's a b*stard. And he freakin' doesn't listen to anyone. Other than Pepper. But I can understand why he listens to her. The woman's scary as hell. I don't know how Cap and he were besties. They are the complete opposites.

And- coming back to the present- he's done something that's making Tony tell us what it is. Which means it's bad. Really bad.

And then the above-mentioned- Tony and Barnes, in case you were not paying attention- entered, Barnes behind Tony, walking less and stalking more.

"So, what's the important announcement?" Clint asked.

"He-" Tony started, pointing at Barnes.

"Is his cousin," Barnes cut him off, taking a chocolate from the Chocolate Jar.

"Wait a second, what?" I blurted out.

"His mother, Maria, was my aunt." Barnes shrugged and turned around, but before he could leave, Peter asked him something:

"I-I still don't understand, Mr. Barnes."

(The whole thing is based on the principle: my fanfic, my rules.)

"His mother was my mother's younger sister. By 15 years. Large age gap, I know. So, by the time I was born, Maria was, uh, 10 years old. We were pretty close. We had a sibling relationship, more than an aunt-nephew relationship or whatever. So, she was around 30, when Howard Stark started courting her. I was 22(Once again: my fanfic, my rules) when I was enlisted. And, as such, I was 22, when I fell off the train, and was found by HYDRA. End of the story. Maria married Howard, and had a child- who is the total a**hole, right here." Barnes finished, rolling his eyes, and pointing his index finger at Tony.

"That...makes a lot more sense, Mr. Barnes." Peter nodded.

"Now, can I leave?" Barnes whined, looking at Tony.

"No" I turned around, Steve had been the one to say this. "Why the hell didn't you tell me?"

There was a chorus of "Language" 's around the room.

"Uh, didn't seem important?" Barnes said, rubbing the back of his neck, the slightest bit of guilt forming upon his face.

"Is that a question, or is that a statement?" Steve asked, amused.

"Depends: if that's a good enough reason, it a statement, or else, it's a question" Barnes replied, sticking his tongue out. Really mature, Barnes.

"Idiot"

"Punk"

"Jerk"

"America's a**"

"Oi, no need to bring my alter identity to this."

"So you admit it?"
