Y/N found herself in the library on that calm Saturday, ready to unravel the mysteries of Potions. She rummaged through the shelves, selecting several books on the subject, determined to turn her weakness into a strength.

Y/N headed into the Potions section of the library, determined to better her talents. Her gaze combed the shelves until she came across the elusive book she was looking for-potion-making.

The book, however, was situated on a shelf just out of her grasp. Y/N stood on her tiptoes, extended her arms as far as she could. Despite her best attempts, the book remained stubbornly out of reach.

A tall guy arrived from behind, just as exasperation began to set in. "Need a hand?" said a voice.

Y/N whirled around, astonished to see Draco behind her. "Oh, Draco, thanks," she murmured, chuckling and reaching for the book.

Teasingly, he smirked. "Potions and cooking - quite the combination. Are you planning to add a pinch of spice to Professor Lumewick's recipes?" Draco inquired regarding the new Potions professor's class.

She laughed. "More like trying not to turn them into a disaster. I appreciate the help, though. Didn't expect to find you in the library."

Draco shook his head. "Sometimes, even Slytherins need a break from the common room drama. Besides, I'm not bad at Potions, so if you need any tips, feel free to ask."

Y/N grinned as she accepted Draco's offer, "Well, I could use some help with Potions."

Draco and Y/N studied potion-making in the library, surrounded by ancient books and the soothing silence of pages turning. Surprisingly, their study session was defined by a flawless teamwork, as if their minds seamlessly synchronized.

Draco patiently taught the subtleties of potion ingredients, and Y/N immediately mastered the principles. The library was infused with the subtle energy of shared knowledge, transforming it into a space where their intellectual skills complemented one another.

Draco and Y/N developed a friendship as they studied potion recipes and swapped ideas. The initial uneasiness faded, revealing a vibrant partnership that seemed to transcend the confines of the house. Their laughing rang in that quiet nook of the library, laying the groundwork for an unexpected and joyful alliance.

As they continued to study, Draco's silver eyes glowed with curiosity. He couldn't keep the question from coming out eventually. "I've always wondered, Y/N. Why are you so accepting of me? Most people in your house wouldn't give a Slytherin the time of day."
