8th Year

The next day dawned, casting a warm glow over Hogwarts. Draco and Y/N, mindful of the clandestine nature of their connection, decided to navigate the corridors with a bit of discretion. With a careful glance around, they slipped out of Draco's room, avoiding any potential encounters with his friends.

In the quiet hallways, Draco spoke in a hushed tone, "We wouldn't want any unnecessary speculation, especially from Blaise, Theo, and Mattheo. They tend to have a knack for making assumptions."

Y/N, a playful glint in her eyes, teased, "Oh, the Slytherin gossip mill at its finest. We better keep this under wraps, then."

As they maneuvered through the castle, Draco occasionally checked over his shoulder, ensuring that their discreet departure went unnoticed. They found themselves in secluded corners and hidden passages, weaving through the familiar halls with an air of secrecy.

Y/N whispered, "It's like we're navigating a maze of secrets. Quite the adventure, don't you think?"

Navigating the quiet corridors, Draco and Y/N eventually found themselves at the entrance to the Hufflepuff common room. The door, adorned with a badger knocker, seemed to welcome them into the warmth of Hufflepuff House.

Y/N turned to Draco with a smile, "Well, this is where I bid you farewell for now. Thanks for the adventurous start to the day."

Draco, leaning against the wall with a smirk, replied, "The pleasure was all mine, Y/N. Perhaps we should make this a routine—sneak out, explore Hogwarts, and keep our little secret."

Y/N chuckled, "As tempting as that sounds, I think we should pace ourselves. Don't want Hogwarts to run out of hidden corners too soon."

Draco nodded, "Fair point. Until our next adventure then. Goodnight, Y/N."

As Y/N approached the entrance, Draco followed her, a subtle escort to ensure their secret remained undisturbed. The badger knocker tilted its head, and Y/N whispered the password. The entrance swung open, revealing the cozy common room.

Draco, standing in the entrance, glanced around the Hufflepuff common room with a hint of curiosity. "Not a bad place you've got here. A bit too cheery for my taste, but I suppose it suits Hufflepuffs."

Y/N teased, "Cheery is an understatement. We Hufflepuffs take pride in our cozy and friendly atmosphere. You're welcome to visit anytime, Malfoy."

Draco smirked, "Maybe I will. Take care, Y/N. Don't let the badgers get to you."
