Orion's bed was perched high in the attic, where a small window offered a breathtaking sunrise view. As the first golden rays crept in, Orion stirred from his slumber and stretched his arms and legs, basking in the warmth of the morning light. With a yawn, he got up and began to tidy up his room, carefully organizing his belongings and making his bed. Next, he strode over to his closet, gently pulling the door open. Orion's dance clothes were always neatly hung in his wardrobe. Orion quickly changed into his practice clothes and decided to go down for breakfast.
As Orion descended from the attic, he carefully navigated the slanted ladder that also served as a makeshift bookshelf. The rungs creaked under his weight, and he paused momentarily to adjust his grip on the worn wooden rails. With each step, he was surrounded by a collection of dusty books and trinkets accumulated over the years, casting shadows on the floor below.
Orion walked into the kitchen and began preparing a vegetable stew for breakfast. He pulled various vegetables from the fridge and carefully julienne them into small pieces. He then heated a large pot on the stove and began sautéing the vegetables. As the aroma of the vegetables filled the air, Orion's stomach began to growl with hunger. He quickly cut two pieces of bread and popped them into the toaster. Once the bread was toasted, he placed it on a plate and set it on the table. He then checked on the stew, adding some vegetable stock and seasoning to give it the perfect flavour. Orion was a great cook and loved experimenting with new recipes. As soon as the stew was ready, he served it on bowls, along with the assortment of vegetables and bread. He sat down and devoured breakfast. After finishing his meal, he cleaned up the kitchen and laid the table for his father. He then carefully placed the stew and the assortment of vegetables on the table,
As Orion made his way to Ms. Anna's dance school, he was captivated by the idyllic scenery surrounding him. The small town of Liti exuded a charming quaintness that never failed to make him feel at ease. Five years had passed since he and his father had relocated here, yet the place still felt new and full of undiscovered secrets waiting to be uncovered.
As he walked down the street, Orion couldn't help but notice the bustling activity at the local restaurant where he worked on weekends. The place was swarming with people, and he could see the servers hustling to keep up with the orders. Orion knew that the town was expecting a cruise ship to dock that day, and the restaurant was one of the popular spots for the crew members to dine. As he got closer, Orion could see that the restaurant was packed with people, and there was a long queue of customers waiting to be seated. He observed that the restaurant's staff was working at total capacity, and it was evident they were feeling the pressure of the busy day. Orion could see his manager, a tall man with a bald head, frantically moving around the restaurant, checking on the customers and ensuring everything was running smoothly.
As Orion walked down the street, he suddenly caught a whiff of a familiar fragrance. It was the scent of Roses, the same perfume his mother used to wear when she was a travelling theatre performer. Memories flooded back to him, and he couldn't help but smile as he remembered the days he spent travelling with her and watching her shows. When he was young, Orion toured extensively with his mother and witnessed her performances in various cities. He knew every song and dance, often performing all the characters on stage, from the dancers to singers. He had a natural talent for performing, and his mother usually encouraged him to pursue his passion. As he continued walking, the memories of his mother's performances flooded his mind. He could still hear the sound of the audience's applause and the laughter that echoed through the halls.
Orion was a bit of a loner; he had only one friend, Jeenie. Jeenie was the most talkative person Orion had ever met, and all Orion had to do was listen to her talk. Today was no different, as Jeenie approached Orion with energy and enthusiasm. "Hey, Orion, did you hear about the new game that just came out? It's supposed to be amazing!" exclaimed Jeenie. Orion was okay with listening to Jeenie, even though he wasn't particularly interested in video games. He found solace in Jeenie's constant chatter, which helped him feel less alone and more connected to the world around him.
Ms. Anna Dance School was the most well-known and the sole dance academy in the city. Students of all ages came from all parts of the town to learn dance styles, including Ballet, Ballroom, Contemporary, and more. It was a place where dreams flourished, and passions were fostered. Every year, the dance school held a grand annual performance where all the students would display their hard work and talent. The event was a spectacle, attracting crowds from all over the city, and it was a moment of pride and achievement for the students and their instructors. Jeenie, a lively and determined young woman, aimed to attend a prestigious dance audition later that year, specifically for the ballroom dance category. She had been preparing tirelessly for this opportunity, driven by her love for dance and her dream of succeeding in ballroom dancing. Orion, her unwavering and reliable friend, had agreed to partner with her for the audition. Despite being somewhat solitary, Orion had a natural talent for dance, and his dedication to helping Jeenie achieve her dreams was limitless.
