The Mira Sea, located between three continents, has been a crucial center of civilization and a bustling trade hub for many generations. It has nurtured diverse cultures along its shores and has been a vital resource for numerous communities. The sea's rich marine life, thriving maritime trade, and its contribution to cultural exchange have profoundly influenced the region's history. Its coastline was adorned with lively marketplaces where the air was filled with the exotic scents of spices, the diverse sounds of languages, and an array of goods from distant lands, all blending in harmony. Throughout history, the Mira Sea has intertwined the stories of civilizations, bringing together people from faraway lands in an enduring dance of commerce, culture, and human connection.

The three magnificent continents, each with its unique charm. Reul, the northern continent, featured majestic mountain ranges that appeared to reach the sky, lush forests teeming with wildlife, and lively coastal cities brimming with trade and culture. The people of Reul were famed for their exceptional craftsmanship and bustling marketplaces, which showcased their skill as artisans and traders, drawing visitors from all corners of the globe.

Epip, located in the southern region, consisted of vast plains that extended as far as the eye could see. It was sustained by mighty rivers that meandered through the land and enriched with age-old customs that influenced every aspect of life. The people of Epip deeply bonded with the land, integrating their spiritual practices into their daily lives and preserving their enduring heritage across generations.

To the east lay Lara, a land of enchanting deserts that glistened in the sunlight, crisscrossed by lively trade routes connecting distant lands and adorned with magnificent palaces that testified to the richness and magnificence of its people. The inhabitants of Lara were esteemed for their unparalleled expertise in astronomy and mathematics, their lavish cities shining like precious gems amidst the dry expanses, captivating all who gazed upon them.

The surge in maritime traffic, which had more than tripled in recent years, did not escape the notice of the local communities. As ship movements escalated, so did concerns about safety, environmental impact, and the quality of life for those residing along the coastline. Local people responded to the streets, urging the port authorities to review and update their regulations and protocols. Their worries about the potential risks posed by the heightened activity were palpable, underscoring the need for stringent safety measures and environmental safeguards to preserve the sea and its environment.

To conduct operations in the Mira Sea, the port authorities of all neighbouring countries had to approve. The authority board members consisted of government officials and representatives from private companies. While reviewing the Zenia Port project documentation, Zephyr came across a critical piece of information: the environmental clearance had taken approximately nine months more than other clearances. He also found a letter initially deferring the approval.

Danihul and Sons,

We are sorry to tell you that the environmental clearance for the Zenia Port project has been deferred due to the non-submission of all the required documents. It was determined that certain essential materials were not included. As a result, we won't be able to proceed with the approval process right now.

The application for environmental approval was initially submitted to Mr. Asa Smith, a high-ranking official in the environmental department of the port authority. However, despite a nine-month delay and without any additional documents being provided, Ms. Mika Pats astonishingly granted the clearance.

Zephyr arrived at the imposing head office of the environmental clearance division of the Port Authority, his mind set on uncovering the reasons behind the inexplicable delay in the environmental clearance process for the Zenia Port project. As he strode into the office, his distinct air of purpose caught the receptionist's attention. Without hesitation, he politely requested a meeting with Mr. Asa Smith, the person in charge of the environmental clearance process. After a brief pause, the receptionist asked Zephyr to sit in the well-appointed lobby while she called to check Mr. Smith's availability.

While waiting in the lobby, Zephyr took in the scene around him. The office was a hive of activity, with a steady stream of individuals focused on their work in the various cubicles that lined the room. The atmosphere was alive with ringing phones and the murmur of conversations, creating a sense of urgency and purpose. After a short wait, a poised lady emerged from the office's inner sanctum and approached Zephyr with a friendly smile. In response to his inquiry about Mr. Asa Smith, she regretfully informed him that Mr. Smith was no longer with the organization. With a note of reassurance, she mentioned that Ms. Mika Pats had assumed his responsibilities and would be able to assist him.

Zephyr was eager to set up a meeting with Mika Pats, and she kindly agreed. Shortly after, Zephyr found himself in Ms. Pats' office. When Zephyr inquired about the reason for the delay, a momentary silence raised suspicions in Zephyr's mind. However, after the pause, Ms. Pats revealed that the delay resulted from extensive checks being conducted. She assured Zephyr that the timeline was still within the normal range and provided all the documents Danihul and Sons had submitted for clearance.
